Yes better rated guys like Duncan, Noah, Howard
    Yes crash glass is on

It seems like as if my guys are avoiding to get on the good position and escaping from where they can get the rebound out of my control, i sometimes find myself seeing and saying why has he gone there in an odd fashion if you know what i mean. There are instances that this keeps going and 4-5 offensive rebound in a row can happen.

The rebound ratio for offensive galss is the half of defensive glasses so. Some tweaking to the defensive rebounding position could be helpful.

I am wondering what is the interaction of settings on the rebounds now? Basically we may have to play tighter on good rebounders offball even when you don't necessarily feel they are a threat to score.

Say for example you want to sag off a poor shooting big we may not be able to help defend the paint well without giving up say rebounding. I have not tested this but there may be an interaction.
I had auto off ball D on Melo.

& yeah, the frequency of this occurring is what's ridiculous. Especially when you have extremely good rebounders just standing there (Jimmy is rated 70 or 72 in defensive rebounding... way above the average for that position.. & also has high defensive awareness.. yet he fails to box out). And this happened 10 or so more times even when I tried manually boxing out. Didn't happen with just Melo.. but Stoudemire, Chandler, and others. Seems like crashing defensive boards doesn't do much of anything. Even Noah was caught failing to box out multiple times.

Lol. I doubt it considering it happened to Noah a few times and he has like a 92 box out rating.

I think this may sum up Joakim Noah and offensive rebounding by CPU:

                Easy rebound?

                animation continued

                continued (love the body morphing)

final result of what should been an easy board for Noah

The rebounding seems fair to me. I just shake my head at how the CPU can actually grab an off rebound, then jump off the floor twice as fast for a putback that is very hard to contest.

the last game i played was with the wizards against the hornets on hof sim. the hornets had 24 offensive rebounds to my 7. 30 second chance points to my 8. at times brian roberts would get an offensive rebound over 3 people. at certatin times my friend would get 3-4 on multiple possessions
From the 2nd qtr i put on manual poe on defense everyone to crash glass
This is all on H.O.F SIM 8min qtrs, no custom sliders at all.
These one-sided offensive rebounds every game are killing my experience with 2k15

                        Czar,

I need to play more games first to give a fair answer. But so far, I play 12 min hof sim and the rebounding seems ok in user v. User but not against hof cpu. The cpu gets better animations and is constantly grabbing boards over the back without a foul being called.

I don't have numbers (and don't see how to see my recent game history when it comes to rebounds), so I'll post back with those. In a case like this people need to post numbers that's the only things that matters here.

Even before posting actual stats I can tell you without QUESTION what a big problem is. Putback%. The CPU is WAY too good here. (I realize the slight hypocrisy of this statement seeing as I haven't posted any numbers yet). I think this is exacerbating whatever problem may or may not be present. (I'll try to keep track of this too). If the other team is going to hit so many of their putbacks then that's still a problem related to offensive rebounding. Rashidi also has a point (and I wonder if a patch can even fix it) that rebounds don't bounce right. With so many rebounds occurring so close to the basket there are a lot of putback opportunities.
I agree here. For me the CPU"S obvious advantage in getting o-boards wouldn't be so bad if they were still beholden to actual physics when doing their putback but at this point when the cpu gets a offensive board you might as well just run back on defense because 80% of the time they will get 2 points easy even through contact.

Rebounds seem ok to me. Only small gripe is the cpu recovers very fast before I can even box out for their own rebounds

personally i do like the balance 2k has struck with the rebounding.

This however may be a result of the more IQ shot spread the AI displays now.

In Previous years i've always adjusted OReb slider upwards and DReb sliders downwards but im not sure what i'll do for this year.

I havent really gotten stuck into a myleague yet as im waiting for that Hyperballer/DCAllAmerican style roster to pop up. Meanwhile im trying to find the best way to farm VC and taking time to create my legion of 40+ fantasy caps.

Off Topic: Despite the obvious omissions in the CAP, its vastly improved and the realism of the faces I sculpt stagger me everytime.

The problem with the better rebounding animations on HoF is that the CPU is getting a massive attribute point boost across the board. Chris Bosh's modest Dreb rating becomes more akin to D12's.

The one issue that I find makes it easier to rebound in myplayer is that as the computer is shooting their players tend to move. Like they don't find a spot, stick it, and get ready for the board. Because of that, you can push them or slide in and box them out.

not really sure exactly what they are doing. They seem to do this on offense and on D. On D they actually seem like they are trying to block the shot or gather the ball while it is in the air.
