Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
I'm not sure what you mean by that. I like the sizes. Definition could be tweaked a bit but I think I would rather the "too skinny" than the "everyone is a linebacker". Guess I'm pretty alone in that regard but hey, I'm allowed to have an opinion, right?#KingsAllDay

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
There has been evidence everywhere.
From the awful looking Curry and Durant, to the numerous screenshots of the same crappy bodies being used for every player.
Then there's things like the Bucks court, the Knicks away uniforms looking purple. I could go on........Comment

Curry and Durant looked fine last year. Now they look like awkward teenagers who haven't grown into their bodies.Comment

That and the logo being ridiculously small. I don't know how these things go past testing let alone releasing a screenshot of it.Comment

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
It's not like it's hard to make accurate jersey textures. PC modders make perfect jerseys every year, and that's just some people with photoshop and some time on their hand. I can't really undrstand how a team of supposed NBA and basketball enthusiasts just don't give a crap what NBA jerseys look like.
If my job was to create jersey textures for NBA 2k I'd work my *** off to make them as accurate as possible.Comment

Those have been the same gripes that some posters have been spamming the board with for days. We get it.
Wait for the full game.Comment

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
Chances are if they're marketing these screenshots and videos, they aren't being fixed. I don't see why we have to wait to talk about it. Not to mention talking about it, helps it get fixed if that is possible.Comment

Re: The Art Team Really Tanked This Year.
It shouldn't have to be the either too skinny or the overly muscular bodybuilder versions. There is a middle ground.
The concern is that no one is looking for the extreme versions for players that don't have that particular body type. Dwight Howard looks like a bodybuilder, so give him the appropriate bodybuilder type body. That doesn't mean someone like Russell Westbrook needs a bodybuilder type body even though he is muscular and cut. Russell Westbrook would need a slim cut body type. Then you've got players who are slim and muscular toned, but not extremely cut. Create a body type for those individuals.
My biggest concern is how the skinny players look from the front. The arms aren't exactly proportional to their torso. Their arm girth is extremely frail like a supermodel or long distance runner.
What is your take Tony Parker and Ghinobli for the Spurs in NBA2k16 (gif below)? They don't have the bodybuilder bodies. They have what looks like a normal human being. Meaning 2k already had the blueprint for normal looking skinny player but decided to do something extreme for NBA2k17.
The shoulder width on 2k17 Durant looks better than last year, but where things unfortunately took a wrong turn was the width or girth of Durant's arms from the front. Yes, 2k16 Durant looks extremely built but the main concern was the extreme shoulder girth and chest girth. 2k17 Durant looks better from the shoulder up, but the shoulder down area including the biceps and forearm area are simply too frail.
EDIT: To any 2k developers reading this, the models in 2k16 could use a slimmer effect near the shoulder girdle width by about 0.5 to 1 centimeter on all players. The concern is the extreme effect taken with the skinny players models for 2k17 especially in the bicep and forearm area, especially when looking at them from the front. That's my personal biggest concern. However, this doesn't mean 2k16 is perfect. They are far from it. The shoulder girdle are too wide on the 2k16 players. I am personally looking for something in between 2k17 and 2k16.
