All of this is honestly very disturbing.

All of these gaming news channels are very political in nature and now they are using a very manipulative politician-esque talking point to stir up the masses to revolt against a company.

The lack of research they did on the game and the way they are all using the same narrative makes it seem like they all got together in a private skype call to plan all of this. The whole thing creeps me out.

Not surprised to see it coming from AngryJoe tho. He always has a horrible opinion on sports games, especially Madden. It's not like he plays them. I don't know why he wants to be a "champion of justice" against all Ultimate Team modes.

How would you even acquire players in a mode like this without some form of pack opening? Have every player available for a set amount of MT? That would make the Auction House obsolete.

All I want is to get a 99 rated MyPlayer without having to play 5000 games of basketball,

have big pack bundles available for purchase using MT(not just vc),

and having the 2K action house being unlocked from the jump. I refuse to play online so if they're going to hide behind Unlimited again then that's a huge bummer for me.

I just hope this doesn't do any actual damage that makes the franchise worse.

That was removed. Now you only need to collect thirty cards, easily attainable via a couple of Domination games or challenges

Mobbing a YouTube video with dislikes is a big victory for “gamers.” Wow that is a sad commentary.

Of course, it sends a message to the developers that the community is NOT approving of this new feature and they answered by deleting the video. This is called admission of guilt and now they're going to not include it in the final product due to the appearance of what that feature looks like....or they will leave it in and change the ESRB / PEGI to T for Teen, it's not like parents or majority of gamers even bother to look at that rating system. Parents buy little jerry or Jackie whatever game they request and do NOT do the due diligence to look at the ESRB and educate themselves on what the stuff means or what's in the game, it's become a joke now after 33 years when it was first created, it used to hold vastly higher power for games, now it's just there as an artwork. And gamers simply ignore it because they're going to buy it regardless.

This is much bigger than 2k20 but it's the right step to take to bring Take-Two down to earth because they were getting a bit over confident thinking they're untouchable.

YouTube isn’t a court of law. It isn’t an “admission” of anything other than they don’t want to have the video up anymore. When YouTube hosts with millions of subscribers are waving pitchforks, that sort of thing is inevitable. “Gamers” didn’t do that. The crowd that follows Angry Joe is not the same crowd that buys NBA 2K. He doesn’t even review sports titles. He gave his subscribers a bad guy to be angry at and they spammed the dislike button. If you think the 2K community has anything to do with it, you’re fooling yourself.

With this type of logic no one should have complained about SW Battlefront 2 then with the micros because it was just one game. No way it would have spilled into other genres giving companies new devious ways to bleed people dry.

You're just spewing out rhetoric you were taught by AngryJoe. You also totally missed my point.

If you don't even know how the mechanics in a mode work but still cause public outrage and base it off of FALSE claims and accusations you are doing a disservice to not only the fan base that supports you, but also the developers that make the game, the publisher that produces the game, AND the players that play the game.

The ESRB and PEGI already shot them down and if they try to bring those weak claims to court it won't take 40 minutes for a judge to rule in Take Two's favor. Then the whole "gaming activist" community will be seen as a joke by lawmakers. How does that benefit us as gamers?

Star Wars is a first person shooter. It doesn't have a mode specifically designed around building a fantasy sports team. They don't relate AT ALL. Like I asked before:

How would you gain new players in an Ultimate Team Mode without opening packs for players? I honestly can't think of a way that doesn't cut the fun of that mode in half.

2K jinxed it themselves making it look like a casino game. Definitely ranks high as one of the worst trailers for a video game ever.

How about you win guaranteed packs after a game of unlimited? Makes no sense to argue the game is more fun if you pay to open packs. How about playing games actually get you vc too.

The loot boxes arent even fair for players for play without spending. You cant buy a box of 20 packs or 10 cause it only takes vc. Why cant a player buy those with mt or have a way of earning that.
