So you're using Brooke's sliders with Eccentric's movement sliders? That's interesting because both guys focus on movement. Is it still working well?

It's working well for me on 8 minute quarters. I get 15-20 foul shots a game...each team shooting 45-65% and scores around 100...after not playing this game for a while, it is now my most played game.

Yes and I have all fouls turned to 100 except illegal screens they are on 60 and it runs great!

Interesting. Oddly enough I went back to using Shady's my last few games (they've worked best for me overall this year) and they feel good again. Stupid 2K updates can not only break people's sets but also unbreak them I guess. Or maybe I've just bounced around so much this year trying to find the right set I'm just losing my mind 😂. I'm gonna wait for more final sets from Eccentric and Duce before I mess around anymore.

Same for me. I didn't use them for weeks but when I went back to them 2 days ago they were fine.

Re: NBA 2K20 "The Eccentric Edition" - Realistic Slider Set

I had my 1st shooting foul on a 3pt attempt the other night, finally after all the games I have played, lol. Oddly enough it was with default sliders on All Star, lol.

I dont know if its just me, but since this latest update, I feel like I have been seeing a few more fouls being called.

I do think the body up sensitivity slider has a impact on seeing not just a few more fouls, but also a few more turnovers per game as well. So when I seen eccentric had it at 100, I decided to try it, and I do believe it improves the gameplay with it raised up. As I think it also causes more blocking and charging fouls too. Not perfect by any means, as its still hit and miss, but since I raised it up, I have seen more called, in just a few games, than I had seen in all the game up to that point.

I dont know why so many people are bashing NBA2k20 this yr. Sure it has its flaws, but there is so many improvements over all previous yrs, that I dont know how anyone could claim this is one of the worse NBA2k's. IMO its by far the best basketball game to date, as a whole that it. Sure some previous NBA2k's did a few things better, but as whole, 20 is not just the best basketball game to date, its the best sports game to date, as far as Im concerned.

Personally I've been playing 2K since it's inception, and this has been maybe the hardest year I've had finding a slider set I can stick with. Largely due to 2Ks own updates jacking them up. Then you have the no love for MyLeague issue.

Activity in the slider forums has been slow. I'm guessing due to the holidays. For those interested Shady Mike is working on an update to his set. Maybe something to try while we wait on a full set from Eccentric and updates from Duce and others.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays.

Yea, I’ve unfortunately not had a chance to do any testing over the holidays. Shady always puts out a quality set so it’s definitely worth a look in the meantime!

Definitely. Wasn't sure he was going to update anymore, but he responded to me on Twitter and said he's going to begin work on an update. He asked what issues I was seeing so I relayed some of the info from these forums. We'll see what he comes up with. Still looking forward to your complete set as well.

Ive also been buying NBA2k since the very1st NBA2k came out, except for NBA2k9, thats the only 1 I didnt buy, because it was just my way of protesting them stopping CH2k8,lol.

Im glad they have the ability to do updates, but it does at times mess things up a bit and you have to start back over with adjusting sliders. I fell this last patch did improve the gameplay. So I hope they leave it where it is, unless they can improve the lack of variety of fouls in the game, and improve the player movement even more, without breaking something else, which at times has happened with their updates.

IMO updates should be to fix things, only, not change the way the game plays, because some whinny kids who play online cry about something they dont like. Most of these online players, dont want realism, they want to make every shot, and they want no turnovers or fouls to be called. Thats not the type of players the devs should be catering too, especially when they claim their game is a NBA simulation.

In general, the 2K franchise has been headed down the wrong path for a while now. My first 2K was 2K10, so I got to experience the gem of a game that is 2K11. I absolutely hate the scripted, cash-grab of a gamemode that MyCareer has become. Fortunately, there is still a dedicated group of simulation folks on this site keeping this game alive for me.

I agree. Problem is those online players have become their money makers. Most updates are to appease them. They may need to find away for online and offline modes to be completely seperate. Updates Aimee at Park and that crap shouldn't affect MyLeague/MyGm.

You ever watch 2KTV when they ask the question what mode do you play the most? MyLeague is always dead last and usually in single digits percentage wise. That's not good for the rest of us.
