Ho, hey, whoa, slowup a little. I never said ESPN was the way the NBA is depicted. Reason being I never played it.

I honestly dont know how ESPN's off the ball movement is. The one thing I do know is that the OTB in Live combined with the vast number of animations are what make the game so fun. IMO of course.

      Sorry...just read your post back.

I should have said, you acknowledged that LIVE isn't playing NBA ball...rather, it's running classic half court type sets as the ten man mo cap guys ran.

Just on the mo cap...i'd love to see them use it in LIVE 05 and concentrate on REBOUNDING.

From 04, it seems they mustn't have had time to use the mo cap sessions for boards...

Either that, or none of the mo cap guys know how to rebound

I hope EA use it for boarding as that would really elevate the game IMO

Yea, in the video they were just moving as if they actually were playing a game. But I'm sure alot of those sessions were scripted and they were told what to do down to the slightest detail. Not 100% sure though. EA could of have used those guys advice in how certain things looked.

I think the rebounding was used as a seperate single mo-cap session. Just like the dribbling and other animations. Yea, if they touch up on the rebounding, it'll be perfect.

So a thread that compares NBA Live to ESPN in a NBA Live forum should be closed, why???? Aren't these two games running competition. What's so wrong with comparing them. Noone has attacked each other till wwharton attacked me, before that, it was attacks on a certain game(in which nothing is wrong).....the point I was trying to make is that I played NBA Live, I found everything to be wonderful, then i got ESPN and found everything better. I come in here to find little tidbits about this game cause I play it for multiplayer. I said my piece on what game I find better just like everyone else around here has...is it my fault that this thread is getting constant post and won't die.

You've heard me praise ESPN, not once have you heard me bash NBA Live......there's a difference

I thought you said that you played the game.

No, I dont think I've ever said that. If I have can you post the link to the thread cause I'll happily smack myself in the back of the head if I did.

I thought I read it. I must've got you confused with someone else. Sorry.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
