Good job on this! Question, the Big Ten conference you renamed only has 12 spaces, how do I move in Nebraska and Rutgers?

I used therostermaker's guide which has the sec in the a-10 conference, the only conference ingame that has 14 spots. It not entirely realistic, but you can't edit member sizes.

great thread! great work of yours! Hope you get through this weired hex-number-stuff. I tried it by myself with a savegame, but just get confused. would pay for the realistic conferences, coaches, etc. bookmarked and will follow. Greetings from Germany.

Thank you, if you're on the ps3 I've included rosters with updated coaches and conferences as close as possible to real life. There's a few things we still want to achieve but may not be possible do to being hardcoded.

          Also for xbox users:
The conference offsets are at 00367B64

If I'm not mistaken I think it's the amercian east, then followed by two big blocks of info, then after it it should be ACC, and then the rest of the conferences as usual. The conferences are going to look about the same so it shouldn't be too confusing. the "07xx" xx's being the different number and/or letters, this is the founded date, two places in front of it will be the conference sizes.

          0000 - small
          0001 - mid-major
          0002 - major
          0003 - power

I'm on the PS3. I've just tried your customized roster. Awesome! Very close to real life, except coach age and conference names. But i guess you posted earlier, that if you start a new dynasty, you can customize the conf for good. would be great if you can find out how to put the starting date of a dynasty in 2015/16. btw. didnt find the posted offsets in my savegame.

The offsets in the post you quoted where for the xbox users. Some of the coaches ages aren't accurate, by a year, because later on during the editing I decided if there birthdays had already occurred to just make them a year younger so they aged properly in-game (they age every January). And older coaches like Roy Williams and Coach K, are at 59, so they stay longer, to ensure the schools will be good after they leave. I put Jim Bohiem at 63 so he will hopefully retire in 3 years in the legacy, as he said he will do in real-life. I also put Bo Ryan at 68 so he will retire after one season, like in real-life.

Editing the starting dates aren't possible with the rosters themselves (i don't believe), but could be possible in the legacy it's self, but I haven't really checked that out much.

Well I guess you're right. Maybe I have to sim 9 seasons and customize the roster then, or I have to live with the ancient date. Question is, if you can customize names of the ingame-save-files sometime. My Dynasty does not allow me to edit any of first an last names anymore. So to continue my dynasty (after 10 oer so years), I am forced to hex, if its possible.

                    Here's the guide: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

I would suggest just finish doing it in legacy, then go over and change what you feel is best. Like I just replaced Northwestern, since I've never been good in my long running legacy, with Minnesota. Then I put northwestern in the WAC (Independents).

                    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Re-uploaded the coaches txt file, as I noticed I left some unnessacry notes in their and forgot to add what coaches needed to have championships added and/or corrected.

Follow this post as the guideline for coaches: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...6&postcount=34

I appreciate the work you've done a lot man.

Do you think you could edit some of the coaches overall ratings? I don't think a lot of them should be A rated (Jones of LSU and most of the coaches in the SEC for example) and some mid major coaches should atleast be high B+ if not A (Wichita States Gregg Marshall is the only mid major coach that I can think of off the top of my head that should be bumped up to an A).

On the other hand some are overated at certain aspects. Some should be good recruiters but not great at improving their players or teaching defense.

I also wonder if head coaches that aren't that great have lower ratings (B or maybe C) if it would increase the chances of an assistant getting a shot at taking over.

Assistants taking over usually only occurs with smaller schools. Also, nobody ever gave suggestions on what specify coaches ratings should be.

Also, I had to rename/edit some coaches from some smaller/major schools because they were still at their previous schools. I fixed a few, so beware and let me know if they're any duplicates, and if I made any errors.

For the coach records you're suppose to search the default coaches record (in hex) and replace with the new record. You have to assign a hotkey and use paste special in order to paste from notepad into whatever hex editor you're using. Never mind the ages also, you can do that in game.
It possible to port this over for 360 users?

I don't think so since the files are so different. You'll have to do them manually or if someone who has already done it on the Xbox would share their roster.

Darn. That's really disappointing. I guess I figured it was like NBA 2k and other sports games where you could port the roster over from Xbox to PS3 and vice versa.

I decided to look though, and found out the coaches are exactly the same, probably the only ones that are, because the actual roster and conferences are different. So, this should work, I haven't tested this.
