What would they had done if they played Lakers 1st round?

      this is entertaining.. I'm entertained

Nuggets with AI, but without a pg, a center-Nene and a solid bench big-Birdman 0-4

Nuggets without AI but with all of the above 10-6

      the result: the same
      NBA

20-24 a night means he is a ball hog...He hogs the ball...Ball he hogs...He ball hogs. He is a loser...A big loser with nothing to offer a NBA team...He sucks...Lets face it...Just because he has won a MVP and playoffs series and led them to a championship showoff with the lakers does not mean he is a winner! Jeez guys...You gotta think straight

If I am not mistaken...He led the 76ers into a championship finals appearance...No way in hell they make it out of the first without him.

At this point it's not even worth debating...It's just a hopeless topic.
Tell that to the Denver Nuggets and the Detroit Pistons.

So Kidd gets a pass for coming in 2nd? And he lead his team but A.I. didn't? :lol

Miami and Memphis &? A.I. is 34 and still is capable of getting you 20-24 a night so what does that tell you?
Again, Kidd never showed selfishness like Iverson has. Where did I say A.I. never led his team? Show me where I said that. Miami and Memphis aren't going anywhere with or without A.I. Is he still capable of dropping 20+? What does KIDD have to do with this anyways? No one is on his jock like most of you are on the cAnswer.

This year? They wouldn't get swept. In fact, they probably would have taken it to a game 7. Lakers weren't all that early in the playoffs.

You guys are trying to argue with something that happen almost a decade ago. A.I. isn't the same player, he isn't in his prime. Yet, he still thinks he deserves to play 38 minutes a night. The game has changed, the cAnswer hasn't.

You just don't like A.I. because he played for Philly.

I don't like A.I. because he's selfish. Detroit could have used him in the playoffs if he wasn't "injured". I hated #8 for quitting on his team, I still have some hate towards him. What's funny is people think I'm just hating to hate. Not true. A.I. needs to change his act, but that will never happen.

Well...you've also got to consider that anywhere in his professional career...aside from Detroit and Denver...he was THE main cog for offense.

Maybe the guy wants to help his team, but feels he only can by having the ball in his hands. Coincidentally having to become a selfish player.

I mean at this point, as one of the biggest AI fans, I'd love to see him adapt to a new way of playing, but I don't see it happening.

It's like Michael Vick having to become a pocket-passer when all he's ever done is be a scrambler. Not all of these superstars are able to change and adapt to the changing ways of the game, their body, etc.

Someone I've seen do this is McNabb. He was a scrambler, but developed into a pocket-passer.

AI is past that development stage, and anyone wanting to take him on should have a need for a shooting guard who needs 20 shots a night.

Whether or not he's willing to commit on the defensive end has yet to be seen, and I'm not going to count him out one way or the other.

Like I said, the game has changed and the cAnswer hasn't. The man would be DEADLY as a 6th man on any championship contender, no? But like you said, he feels like the only way he can help his team out is when he has the ball in his hands. This isn't 2001, it's 2009. I really hope he changes his act, he IS a great player but a selfish one. Hell Kobe was getting ****ted on for being a ball hog and a selfish player, at least he changed. I still have hate for #8.

Gosh man you're too young and immature to understand!

He played 1 1/2 seasons with Denver won 48 games 1st year and 50 the next tell me how was that bad.2nd seasons is arguably the best conference race EVER.

Like the guy on ESPN said the Pistons were going to be bad even with Billups there granted they may have won a few more games but they were old and not contenders anymore.

What does it matter? The Nuggets were improved they have 2 starters that are upgrades over they're counter parts

Billups > AC and Nene> Camby along with a better bench.

Yet all of the upgrades they won 4 more games in a weaker conference and loss to the same team that beat them the year before.

Kobe changed because Bynum improved and Gasol came, case ion point he got a Big Man.

If Kobe had the same team post Shaq pre Gasol he would still be averaging 30+ getting beat in the 1st and 2nd round

You obviously weren't here when the Lakers got owned by the Suns in '06.

What about Smush Parker DTX? What about Smush Parker?

I don't see you calling him selfish and he hasn't lead his team to the finals. He got booted out of the first round twice. And he averaged less assists than A.I. Plus, NOBODY wants him in the NBA. He's playing in the D-League. At least somebody in the NBA wants A.I. But you don't call him selfish and you're not talking bad about him. So what's the difference?

                                SMH. You're so biased.
Smush? SMUSH? Hell why not bring in Shammond Williams into the mix? LOL. Why would I want call a nobody a selfish player? I'm not Captain Obvious. You obviously want to turn things around bringing up Smush freaking Parker into the mix. Good one though.
