Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
If Minnesota is serious about moving out the #2 spot, Ernie needs to be on the phone with KAHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN and tell him he can have both 1sts and maybe even next year's and any player on the team not named Wall.
Unless of course, you prefer Ernie to continue his fetish for selecting foreign born players and having them be out the league in 4 years.#RespectTheCultureComment

I'm hopeful that Alec Burks will be there at #9 for my Bobcats... although there is a rumor that we're trying to package our #9 and #19 to move up to get Derrick Williams.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

And there's a difference between cockiness and confidence. I think he's more the latter.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

I hate dook...
But Kyrie is freaking good. Heck I'm not sure he'd ever be an All-Star in CLE due to Rose/Wall/Rondo...but I think he could be mentioned in that group. To me he has it all.

For Denver, hoping for Kenneth Faried @22 but I'm worried Portland would take him one spot ahead. I'll take Tobias Harris thenComment

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
After watching both days, I really like the Tyler kid. Hope the Cavs grab him with the 32nd. regarding Williams comments, I like it. Dude has a chip on his shoulder
I would be ecstatic with either combo of Irving/Kanter or Williams/Walker. I'd lean more towards Irving only because Kanter looked good, and next years draft will have a ton of 6'8 ish athletes to choose from...but I really, really like Kemba Walker, and I think he's going to be a BEAST 6th man with is energy and skillset. Would like to see Vesely if they can squeeze one more lotto pick out of that exception, only because an Eyenga/Vesely wing on the break would be ludicrous.
Exciting time for the Cavs.Last edited by HMcCoy; 05-20-2011, 01:16 PM.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Man, I cannot get myself to be excited about the thought of drafting Kemba Walker in the top 5. The guy is too small and not a good enough shooter. Irving is going to be significantly better player, IMO.
And I flat out do not like Derrick Williams as either a player or a person. Saying he's a star and that he will be a 3 no matter what...no thanks.Too Old To Game Club

Not that I'm saying Kemba is big or anything, but he did measure out at a legit 6'1 with shoes.
I thought he was no more than 5'11 with shoes.
As of right now, to me the pick is clearly Irving. I hope we get to see some actual bball from both PG's though before the draft.Comment
