Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Kahn said that the storyline of the Cavaliers winning with a 14 year old kid allowed them to win the #1 pick.
This isn't a "is the lottery fixed" question, it's a "is the lottery fixed because of who is on stage" question.
I'm not disagreeing that the lottery is fixed. I'm pretty sure I called it earlier in this thread, that the NBA would benefit from the Cavaliers getting the #1 and another good pick. I'm pretty sure the fix was in.Too Old To Game Club

Wolves general manager David Kahn said he knew Minnesota was "dead" when it got down to the final three of himself, Utah executive Kevin O'Connor and Nick Gilbert.
"This league has a habit, and I am just going to say habit, of producing some pretty incredible story lines," Kahn said. "Last year it was Abe Pollin's widow and this year it was a 14-year-old boy and the only thing we have in common is we have both been bar mitzvahed. We were done. I told Kevin: 'We're toast.' This is not happening for us and I was right."

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Yeah i read what he said, but again... I REFERENCED THE EXAMPLES USED BY OTHER POSTERS SUCH AS LBJ TO CLE, D ROSE TO CHI, etc...
Did you read that part?
I dont hate Cleveland, but lets just be honest...the draft has been in question a number of years
Ive never seen the nfl have to allow the media in a room because of the constant talk about rigging the system.
I said I agree with Kahn because the NBA is scripted in many areas and this seems to be one of them at convienient times...some people posted above.
Not that I care that much, but its just what I feel about... maybe you dont and thats fine as wellComment

So no its not ridiculous.. and I said I wouldnt put anything past David Stern
Man just stop it dude. If I wanted to say something about the boy I would have
I just showed you what I said, and I said it again clear enough for you to understand
If you want to act hurt over that and see what you want, I cannot help you
you're turning this thread into something unnecessary. Like I said, dont insinuate me hating on Cleveland because I think the system is rigged, thats what is ridiculous.Comment

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Enes Kanter and Kevin Love front line with Ricky Rubio in the back court is a potentially great setup for Minnesota.
Utah lucking into Derrick Williams is pretty lucky for them.
I have no idea what Cleveland will do with the #4. I want Dontas, Knight or I guess Vesley although I do not want him.Too Old To Game Club

to me, love and kanter would be too small of a frontline but thats just me.Comment
