Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread

Yeah, some pretty good stories have come out. Gilbert's kid wins lottery, Bulls win lottery with less than 3% chance and select hometown kid, Cavs win lottery and select hometown kid.

I don't think it's rigged but there have been a lot of good stories
    Chicago Bulls
    Chicago Bears
    Wisconsin Badgers

Good for Cleveland with getting those picks. I don't really think this is a standout draft class, but we'll see.........

Where does Sullinger and the K State stud go?

Sullinger goes to Ohio State for his sophomore season.

JP will go somewhere late in the 1st.

Does anyone think the lottery may be rigged like I do? I obviously have no evidence but i find it odd that they never show the balls pop up like the real lottery does.
Chicago gets their hometown kid in '08, Cleveland got their boy in '03. The Clippers rep would've looked stupid if they didn't get #1 seeing as how he had Griffin's jersey in the lining of his suit. Now Cleveland gets #1 after Lebron spurned and made fools out of Cleveland. Not a big deal to me, CLE deserved it regardless, MIN has got so much more talent already, so does UTA.

We may never know until someone on the committee is fired and decides to disclose classified info 20 years down the road. Which in turn the league will claim as an angry man's rant after being fired.

I see Cleveland fans are little sensitive about Kahn's comment... Its the leagues fault they should do away with the lottery anyway.

                        Honestly dude, haters gone hate?

I dont hate Cleveland, but lets just be honest...the draft has been in question a number of years

Ive never seen the nfl have to allow the media in a room because of the constant talk about rigging the system.

I said I agree with Kahn because the NBA is scripted in many areas and this seems to be one of them at convienient times...some people posted above.

Not that I care that much, but its just what I feel about... maybe you dont and thats fine as well

I think there is some kind of fix in. I first thought it was all BS until Clevland was handed LBJ, then CHI was handed D.Rose. I will believe it is a fix until we actually see the ping pong balls live. There has to be some kind of way to pull off a live format of the lottery.

I don't disagree, but to say that the Cavaliers got the #1 because they put a cute kid with a horrible illness on tv is stupid.

And to be honest, Kahn, it's karma because Minnesota tanked while Cleveland played hard at the end of the year.

Ugh. This draft is horrible. My top 3 picks for Toronto are Kemba Walker, Kawhi Leonard and Brandon Knight. If Colangelo takes a Euro, he will be hated for years.
