Believe so. Woj reports we're working on re-signing Clarkson, getting Mitchell and Gobert their extensions, and then I'd assume all that's left over is the MLE, hope we go after either Favors or a wing defender

I could see them bringing him back. Unless they plan to resign O'Quinn, they don't have a backup big if you don't count Reed as a Center

I think it's more of a getting the cap under control before FA starts tomorrow then probably resign.

I don't see Joel playing all 72 games and don't really see him going over 32 minutes during regular season. We need a good backup Center.

I know O'Quinn didn't like his role last year. I just want an athletic rim running defensive center at the backup. That way when Joel gets off the court, you can ramp up the tempo. When so when the defense is tired and Joel comes back in, he can play bully ball and take advantage

I wouldn't mind another go around with Nerlens Noel if he's willing to come back for cheap on another prove it deal. He's one who blew it turning down a good contract(I think it was a 5 yr 78 million contract) trying to bet on himself, and never did.

If the NBA actually punishes Milwaukee for this, then im done. LeBron and the Lakers can openly recruit AD for an entire season and nothing happens, but the Bucks can 1) tell people theyre gonna try to resign their own player, and 2) work out a trade for a RFA without talking to said player, and getting punished for both?

WTF is the point of small markets even trying to compete, because the league is gonna force their best players out eventually.

What teams do you think are possible for a sign and trade where Boston gets assets ? I could see someone like Dallas if y’all wanted to take THJ back and another of their middle salaries.

I think it's Indiana or back to Boston. Those two give him his chance to either go back home or his best shot at winning.

If he wants to go the money route (which nothing surprises me after Horford) then he could go to New York or Atlanta. Maybe New York throws some future picks at Houston and pairs Westbrook with Hayward. Atlanta is intriguing too because I think they could really be a competitive team with a healthy Hayward. Since both can sign him outright then I don't think either of those teams give up much of anything asset-wise. In a S&T Boston would probably just get a large Trade Exception.

I didn't think Hayward in a 1-year deal had much value but re-signed he should net something. Hayward would have some control so my hopes of a S&T with the Kings for Bogdanovic is all but dead. Dallas would be interesting because they're on the come up. I haven't heard much about them wanting him though.

This is hilarious because the entire story the media has been telling about how the deal fell apart is specifically that the Bucks forgot to tamper before they negotiated with the Kings.

AD signs with LeBrons agent. LeBron picks AD during the ASG draft. Literally the entire season was just constant "AD wants to play in LA with LeBron" stories.

And with Milwaukee, the entire story was the Bucks talking with Sacramento about a S&T WITHOUT EVEN TALKING TO BOGDAN.

And not even these two instances, what about NY talking with Hayward for the past week. What about Harden forcing his way to Brooklyn. You think these teams arent tampering? The NBA just picks and chooses which ones they want to investigate.

Clearly the bucks were tampering also clearly every team Tampers with FA being announced 1 Minute after it’s possible. The lakers did get punished for it though i believe it was just $ though.

The Lakers got fined $50K for it, which is basically "we're fining you to shut everyone up but whatever." I think Milwaukee would GLADLY take the $50K fine and still get Bogi and Jrue. But possible millions in a fine AND loss of picks? WTF???

What part of what you just said is the Lakers tampering though? I don't disagree with you that it's dumb for them to go after this, especially in this off-season, but I don't understand how this is supposed to be comparable to what the Lakers did?

The difference in your other situations is that Bogdan is a restricted free agent. Hayward has a player option and can choose what he wants to do. He's not bound to a contract with Boston until he decides to opt in. Harden is free as he wants to text KD and tell him he wants to come there, decline his extension, ask for a trade.. None of that is tampering by the Nets, Rockets, whatever.

Bogdan is under contract by the Kings, he's a restricted free agent. Which means to agree to a sign and trade he would have had to discuss specific contract options with the Bucks to reach an agreement after which the Kings would agree to match and trade him, which is obviously not allowed under tampering rules.
