          That's wild.. I like the direction for Washington getting guys like Tyus and Poole. Something like that keeps them from just plummeting to the bottom. Really weird fit for GS though. Worst case scenario is they have a guy who can play that backup role instead of this awkward should Poole start or come off the bench dynamic.

            Wow, Jordan Poole really wore out his welcome in Golden State. Shame, I liked him on that team but I guess after the "altercation" between him and Draymond this was inevitable.

            Not sure I agree with picking up CP3 of all players. Maybe they'll be playing a lot of Curry at the 2 and three-guard lineups.

            I still think they need another young guy to emerge - and to replace Poole's offense too, now - to extend their window.

            I love these moves for Washington. The new regime is using what little assets they have to acquire some talent. Added a starting PG, SG, and some draft compensation (I think) with Beal & Porzingis' bloated contracts plus re-routing CP3. [emoji1433][emoji1433][emoji1433]

              Yeah, we agree on this. Poole's a great buy low candidate IMO and I think Tyus is just flat out good.

              CP3 is a weird fit with the Warriors on paper; just doesn't really play their style of ball. But he's certainly smart enough and hungry enough to adapt.

                  There is a lot time between now and free agency. So who knows. I like the fit. Warriors staff should be able to keep him healthy.

                    I like what the wizards are doing as well. Poole seems like the perfect guy to have while your tanking since his value was low. They can let him score 25 a night and then trade him down the line to a contender.

                    @ShamsCharania

                    Golden State is also trading 2022 second-rounder Ryan Rollins to Washington as part of Poole-CP3 deal, sources said.

                    Warriors are sending Jordan Poole, a protected first-round pick in 2030 and a second-rounder in 2027 to the Wizards for Chris Paul, league sources said.

                      The guy is 38 and isn't LeBron, he shouldn't be playing more than 25 minutes (in the regular season at least) anyways.

                        Washington and Phoenix have finalized the Bradley Beal trade, landing the Wizards six second-round draft picks and four first-round pick swaps, sources tell ESPN. Suns are sending seconds in 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2030. Pick swaps in 2024, 2026, 2028 and 2030.

                          Yeah no. A bunch of second round picks and pick swaps from Beal where the team that they'll be swapping with will pretty much be better than them for every one of them isn't exactly some draft compensation. Even this CP move with the Warriors is a protected 1st in 2030. 2030 man. The Wizards are setting themselves up to just build another middling team that's going no where and will have to be blown up again for another rebuild 5 or 6 years from now.

                            If they can keep that standard. At the very least he's more consistent than Poole. This is like when they got DLo

                              Obviously it’s way too early(especially with this regime since they’ve only been here for like a month) but so far it looks similar to what OKC has been doing for the last few years as far as building their roster.

                              Makes sense considering who they brought over to run their Basketball Ops.

                                I'm assuming he's staying on their team. They're going to have to guarantee his contract anyways so whether they waive him or keep him, they'll be paying him around $30 million.

                                Edit: I see Woj is saying they plan to keep him already.
