Hopefully you get some trade offers for some starting pitchers soon. You should also take a look into the FA market.

      Mariners Take Down Tough Righty!!!!!

Josh Beckett takes loss in Mariners win.

The Mariners were able to sneak out a one-run win against the Red Sox yesterday, scoring a 3-2 victory at Fenway Park. Raul Ibanez was the star at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a home run and 2 RBI's. It was a solid start for Miguel Batista, who went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs, to pick up his 5th win of the season. Adrian Beltre achieved a personal milestone in the game, picking up career-hit number 1500.

The Mariners begin a series in Toronto this evening, sending Carlos Silva (5-3, 4.23) to the mound against a tough customer, Blue Jays' ace Roy Halladay (3-6, 3.54).

Thanks for following Jet, I'm pulling for you on that. One thing I love the most about long dynasties is all the reaction and being able to go back to the beginning and read it all again.

                            Mets Earn Non-Divisional Win!!!!!

                            Diamondbacks fall to Mets.

The Mets delivered a 6-4 win for their fans last night, beating the Diamondbacks in front of 50,504 strong at Shea Stadium. Joe Smith earned the victory (his 3rd of the season) working 2 innings and striking out 3 hitters in relief of starter Johan Santana. Carlos Delgado had only one hit, but it was a big home run, and he knocked in 3 runs for the winners.

The Mets and Diamondbacks play again tonight as Arizona offers up their best pitcher, Brandon Webb (8-1, 2.49), who faces off with Orlando Hernandez (1-3, 4.34).

Slump continues for O's as Sox score 9 times in final 2 at-bats!!!!!

Boston, MA - The game was tied at 3-3 in the 6th inning after the O's overcame a 3-0 hole to get even, then the pitching wheels fell off yet again. The Red Sox scored 9 times capped by a 7-run 8th inning to pull away. Boston got home runs from Kevin Youkilis, Manny Ramirez, and David Ortiz throughout the evening in the rout. Tim Wakefield picked up his 7th win of the season by going 7.0 innings. Along with the loss, Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie left the game in the 5th inning with an elbow sprain and will be out 1-6 days. It's not determined if he will miss his next start or not. Jensen Lewis was atrocious in his O's debut, allowing 4 runs in just 0.1 IP. The O's will wrap up the series tomorrow night before heading home for some interleague action against the Pirates.
