Really jet, this is not the place for that kind of discussion. Anyway, that is personal opinion. No reason to argue over who has the better dynasties, you do them for fun not competition.

Yeah, someone like Manny would make a difference, but that doesn't do much for my pitching staff.

I think we all are on equal levels around here when it comes to the dynasties. I enjoy reading them all. I don't know about my hockey one anymore though, I just can't seem to settle on a slider set I enjoy like I do this one.

Orioles pitching staff delivered a "Royal" whipping at Camden!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - Radhames Liz came into the game looking to even up his record at 3-3, but the Royals jumped out with 3 in the 1st inning, capped by a clutch 2-out, 2 RBI single by David DeJesus. The game remained 3-0 until the 5th inning, when DeJesus once again single handedly put an end to the O's chances with a 3-run home run over the wall in left field off of Jim Johnson's first batter in relief of Liz, giving him 5 RBI's on the night. The Orioles got a run in the 6th to cut it to 6-1 and had an opportunity in the 7th with the bases loaded to get back into the game, but Nick Markakis grounded out to end the threat. The Orioles committed a season high 3 errors in the game, 2 on throwing errors by shortstop Alex Cintron to make things worse. The O's will try to get something rolling as the All-Star break is on the horizon. The final placement of trade block players will be listed tomorrow as well.

"Birds" soar early and survive late hunt by Royals' guns!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - It was a wild night at Camden Yards in downtown Baltimore tonight. The Orioles jumped out to a 6-0 lead before having to hang on late to earn a 7-6 victory. The O's got it started in the 2nd inning with a Melvin Mora 2-run home run, a Nick Markakis sacrifice, and a Luke Scott RBI single to plate 4 runs in the inning. Later in the 4th, Aubrey Huff delivered a 2-run homer of his own to put a cap on the "Birds" scoring and what seemed like an easy night for Orioles veteran starter Steve Trachsel. The Royals got a solo home run in the 5th from Olivo to begin the rally and loaded the bases in the 6th with no outs. Gordon then scored on a wild pitch and Billy Butler hit sacrifice fly to center that Freddie Bynum ran down, but lost his footing, scoring 2 runners on the play to cut the lead to 6-4. Mark Grudzielanek then led off the 7th on the first pitch he saw from Jamie Walker to cut the O's lead to 6-5. The O's came back with an insurance run in the 8th as Nick Markakis drove in Brian Roberts, after Roberts collected his 2nd stolen base of the game, pushing his total to 31 on the season. In the 9th, the Royals had a chance after a throwing error by Bynum, but only managed to drive in 1 run as George Sherrill picked up save number 21 and earned game 2 of the 4 game series. Both teams will do it again tomorrow, 3 days removed from our Nation's Birthday.

Bynum sounded like he is a clown in the outfield. If Earl was managing the O's, he wouldn't even be in the majors. Freddie Bynum seems to have faltered for you as the season nears the All-Star break. Are there other options that you can plug into the outfield?

                          Chris Roberson
                          Adam Jones

Look at those stats on Page 62. I think I'll stick with Bynum, at least he gets on every once in a while and is a threat to steal.

Highheat, maybe you need to convert Loewen to the Outfield..
