I don't know, I have that all cpu controlled, if you mean the scouting, etc...I'll have to check that all out. I hope I get to keep my big bats and add to them in the off season. I'm kind of hoping the AI will make me a good deal before the bread, but we'll see though. I think I'm in a good position to make some sort of move next year if the luck of the draw is there.

Checked into it, all of that is done by the AI and there are a bunch of names on different regions (East, West, Central, International). I clicked into it and my main scouting is for relief pitchers.

Yeah, well that's why I use cards to determine my draft, free agency, etc...I had it down with the PS2 version, so I'm going to have to simulate a fake season to learn the process when the time nears. I am getting anxious to see how it all plays out after the season ends. Still a way's to go though.

O's survive extra inning affair to salvage series finale!!!!!

Toronto, ON - It took 11 innings tonight, but the Orioles managed to salvage the finale of the three game set, but not before the Jays made it difficult. The Jays got off to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st when Rios doubled to the right center field gap to score Inglett. The Orioles responded in the 5th with a double of their own from Brian Roberts to tie the game at 1-1. In the last of the 5th though, Greg Zaun would haunt his former team again with a solo home run to right, giving the Blue Jays a 2-1 advantage. The Orioles would rally and open up the game in the 7th. Nick Markakis would get a bases loaded, 2-RBI single to right to give the O's a 3-2 lead and they would add 2 more in the inning off the bats of Luke Scott and Aubrey Huff to make it 5-2. The lead would not last however, in the bottom of the 7th, Rios would crush Oriole reliever Jim Hoey for a 3-run homer to even the game yet again at 5-5. The game would go to extra innings and in the 11th, Brian Roberts would be the hero of the night, capturing his 3rd hit of the night, an RBI single to right field to plate Freddie Bynum. After Roberts stole his 33rd base of the year, Aubrey Huff would bring him home with a single to right of his own, giving the O's a 7-5 advantage. George Sherrill would close out the ballgame in the bottom of the 11th to pick up his 25th save of the season. The O's are off to Boston for 3 games beginning tomorrow, the last series before the summer classic.

Man, your bullpen almost blew the game for you in the 7th. Luckily, they only tied the score and the O's won during the extra frames. Daniel Cabrera continues to pitch pretty well for you although sometimes he can't find home plate with a GPS.

                          Mariners Bullpen Struggles!!!!!

Athletics get to Mariners bullpen, take over game late.

The Athletics ended up beating the Mariners last night by the slimmest of margins, 3-2 at McAfee Coliseum. Jack Hannahan was a perfect 3-for-3 with 1 RBI to lead the way offensively. It was a quality start for Joe Blanton, who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings, but it was also a no-decision for him, as he was long gone when the game was decided. Keith Foulke would b e the man to pick up the win, his 3rd of the season, allowing no runs and 1 hit in 2 innings.
