Wow!!!!! Thanks for the support guys. It's really nice to log on here and see guys posting in my franchise. I really do it all for you guys to follow and like Orion said, it's nice to go back and recap the season from time to time as well, even though I was playing really bad for some time.

In Hard-Fought Affair, Orioles Emerge Victorious!!!!!

Orioles edge Blue Jays in nail-biter.

The Orioles needed extra frames to defeat the Blue Jays at home yesterday, winning by a 6-5 count in 10 innings. Pacing the offense was Freddie Bynum, who collected 3 hits, including two solo home runs. Working in extra innings, Dennis Sarfate earned his 4th win of the season, pitching 1.2 innings and allowing no runs.

Up next for the Orioles are the Angels tonight at Oriole Park. Aubrey Huff will look to build on his 12-game hitting streak.

Swinging for the heavens, Angels blast 5 homers in 11-4 rout of Orioles!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - The Angels put together a total of 5 home runs, 3 of them coming in the 3rd inning on their way to a 4-run inning. Torii Hunter, who began the onslaught in the 3rd, homered again in the 7th on his way to Player of the Game honors. Jered Weaver was solid, going 7.0 innings, allowing just 1 run on 6 hits to improve to 6-2 on the year. Steve Trachsel was ineffective, leaving in the 5th inning with a strained bicep injury, making him day-to-day. The Orioles got back-to-back homers in the 8th from Huff and Mora, but the game was too far out of reach to even think of a miracle comeback. The two teams will resume tonight in game 2 of the series.

I remember seeing Cal Ripkin Jr.'s last game in Toronto when I was a kid, I think I have the bobble head somewhere. That was neat, what a player. Anyway good luck with your dynasty!

Wow, I must be losing it. LOL!!! I never entered the pitching stats. They are still from the game before. I apologize, I already threw out the paper I wrote them down on, so I'll check the box score and see if I can re-write them down and fix it. Thanks for the good catch man. Makes me feel good that people are paying attention to that stuff. Time for me to go back to get some

In Key Divisional Contest, Braves Prevail!!!!!

Philadelphia falls to Atlanta in match-up of NL East opponents.

Playing under the lights in front of a hostile crowd at Citizens Bank Park, the Braves were able to secure an easy 4-0 win against the Phillies last night. Getting the win was Tom Glavine, who gave up no runs on 3 hits en route to getting his 5th win of the season. Yunel Escobar provided the big hits, driving in 3 runs and going 2-for-4 in the game.

O's fall behind early, but bounce back to even series!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - The "Birds" fell behind 2-0 early, but managed to make a comeback to take the second game of the three game series against the Angels tonight. Felipe Lopez got the Angels their only 2 runs of the game in the 2nd on a bases loaded single off of Orioles starter Garrett Olson to score Torii Hunter and Juan Rivera. In the bottom of the 3rd, Brian Roberts began the comeback with the first of his 2 doubles on the night, scoring Cintron, to cut the deficit in half. Nick Markakis then delivered a single to left, giving him the team lead in RBI's at 68 to tie the game up. The tie-breaker came in the bottom of the 5th when Chris Roberson managed to manufacture a ground ball to second base to plate Melvin Mora and give the O's the lead. The bullpen for the O's was outstanding tonight. The Angels had opportunities in the 6th and the 8th inning with a runner at 3rd and only 1 out, but failed both times to score the tying run. George Sherrill then set the Angels down in order in the 9th to pick up his 28th save of the year.
