Thanks man, I appreciate that. Sorry things are going so slow. I've been working alot of OT this week at work. By the way, the new pop-up thing at the bottom of OS is annoying. Is there an option to turn it off?

Lugo's amazing play inspires Red Sox comeback!!!!!

Boston, MA - With the bases loaded in the top of the 8th with 2 outs for the Orioles, already scoring a run in the inning to go up 5-3 in the ballgame, Julio Lugo made a dive and layed out into the shallow outfield grass to rob Luke Scott of a guaranteed 2-RBI single, and that play turned out to be the biggest play in Boston's season thus far. The Red Sox, inspired by the defensive play of the year by Lugo, scored twice in the 8th, the key hit being a triple off the green monster by J.D. Drew and won the game in the bottom of the 9th on a bases loaded sacrifice fly from potential MVP Manny Ramirez to take the first game of the final month of the season from the Orioles. Tyler Yates pitched the 9th to earn the victory and pull the Red Sox to within a half game of the Yankees for first place in the division. Both teams will continue the series tomorrow.

Tough loss there, but I'm not too disappointed.

You are sticking with MLB 08, then, I suppose, and not upgrading to 09?

Nope, I want to do multiple seasons. I don't have the time like I used to to invest the amount of time into gaming, so I'm sticking with '08. I love it and the sliders are spot on, I don't have time to invest in that either. Hope you'll continue to follow.

Big Win For Red Sox, Narrows Gap!!!!!

Red Sox beat enemy number one, gain ground on Yankees in AL East with win against Orioles.

In a divisional contest at home, the Red Sox inched closer in the AL East with a 6-5 win over the Orioles yesterday, closing the gap to half a game behind the Yankees. Manny Ramirez went 2-for-4 and drove in 1 run to spark the offense. Working in relief of Clay Buchholz, Tyler Yates came into a tie game and vultured his 3rd win of the season, pitching 1 inning and allowing no runs.

Tonight is game 2 of the series, as the Red Sox send Curt Schilling (4-2, 5.43) to the hill against Jeremy Guthrie (8-8, 5.36) and the Orioles. Aubrey Huff will be after hit number 200 of the season.

That's really a pretty good idea. That's why I was sort of glad that they didn't release a College Hoops 2K9 dynasty because it has allowed me to get deeper than I ever have into my coaching legacy.

And of course I'll continue to follow!

Hey gtm, . At least one of my teams made it. Looks like I'm on the verge of finishing last along with those Tides.

Hey Jet, still on my first. 25 games to play, then looking forward to the off-season and hopefully getting some help for year 2.
