I've been following your great work as well and will continue to follow. You're making me second guess myself as to whether or not to go back to "Sparky's" Reds. I wish that the PS2 version had AI induced trades because that would make the offseason more interesting for me.

        Go Pawsox & Bosox!

Yeah, I had that issue with the PS2 version as well. It really killed the quality of the game. Thanks for following, I'll get back to this on Thursday or Friday.

I don't understand the logos involved with the minor league playoff posting. I'll find another way to post the results, some of the logos are disappearing. Thanks for following guys, I'll finish up the next game with Boston tomorrow.

Red Sox overtake Yankees for first with 6-4 win over O's!!!!!

Boston, MA - The Boston Red Sox got 3 hits, including a home run and 5 RBI's from potential MVP Manny Ramirez to overtake the Orioles tonight at Fenway and catapult themselves into the AL East lead following a Yankees lost to the Rays. Curt Schilling went 6.1 innings, gave up 3 runs on 8 hits, but was able to pick up the victory, his 5th of the year. Jonathan Papelbon picked up save number 40 as he got 2 strikeouts in the 9th giving the Orioles no chance of a comeback. Nick Markakis continued his hitting streak yet again, pushing it to 30 games and now setting his sights on breaking the major league record, but if that time comes, it won't be until next season unfortunately.

What a battle, how many more games do the Yanks and Red Sox have against each other? This rivalry is by far the best in sports.Over 100 years of blood, sweat and tears!

Awesome job on this. It is slow moving, but to play an entire season of MLB baseball would be amazing, something I've never accomplished. I look forward to the offseason.

Thanks guys. Hey Ithacus, nice to see you. Glad you enjoy the dynasty man. I wish I could put more time into it, but it's coming along. Thanks for following. Orion, I'll take a look when I log on to do my other updates and will check that out. Should be an awesome finish.

Big Win For Phillies, Narrows Gap!!!!!

Phillies gain ground on Mets in the NL East with win over Nationals.

The Phillies slashed the first-place Mets' advantage in the NL East to 4 games following a 10-3 road win against the Nationals, a divisional contest played before 8,153 fans at Nationals Park. Geoff Jenkins drove in 2 runs on 4 hits, helping the club pick up the win. Allowing 5 hits in 6.1 innings, Jaime Moyer was able to pick up his 7th win of the season with some -- ok, a lot -- of help from his 'pen.

Looking to cap off a big sweep on the road, the Phillies will go with Kris Benson (7-3, 4.86) tonight at Nationals Park, while Shawn Hill (8-12, 3.91) gets the nod for the Nationals.
