MLB Morning News
May 12th, 2008
Jason Bergmann Can't Hold Lead, Suffers Loss!!!!!
Marlins erase deficit with late rally against a tired Jason Bergmann.
The visiting Marlins blasted the Nationals yesterday, winning by the score of 10-2 and sending the 26,402 fans on hand full of gloom, despair, and bad tidings. Mike Jacobs clubbed a solo home run and collected 2 other hits in 5 at-bats to lead the way for the offense. Scott Olsen went 7.2 solid innings to earn his 4th win of the season, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits and striking out 4.
Tonight the Marlins are in Cincinnati opening the series with Josh Johnson (2-0, 4.83) opposing Johnny Cueto (3-2, 4.03) and the Reds.
