I haven't even been offered one. It's all CPU controlled anyways, as I have rosters, management, draft, free agents, and everything else set to CPU control, so whatever happens, happens. I have no control over it this time around. Just hope if it happens, it's an even deal.

Thanks man, it sure was. I was like, oh great!!!, another spectacular catch by the CPU, when to my surprise I saw it rolling behind him. I almost dropped the controller because I was so shocked. It had to be the perfect hit in that regard because I've never seen or been close to one ever.

I'm trying man. I'm learning though that my rotation isn't going to go out there and win 5 straight though. It's frustrating, yet still love to play the game. Thanks for following man.

            May 4th, 2008

            Aaron Harang Roughed Up Late!!!!!

A tired Aaron Harang can't hold lead as Braves collect a win.

The Braves put the wood to the Reds last night, piling on the runs in a 9-2 thumping before a crowd of 34,459 fans at Turner Field. Leading the way offensively was Jeff Francoeur, who had 3 rbi's and 4 hits in 5 at-bats. Starter John Smoltz worked 6 innings and allowed 2 runs and 9 hits, but he wasn't around when the game was decided, though he does record his 2nd quality start of the season. The victory went to Royce Ring, who came into a tie game and worked 2 innings in relief of John Smoltz to snar his 1st win of the season.

The Braves and the Reds wrap things up this afternoon, whith the Braves sending Tim Hudson to the hill while Edinson Volquez will toe the rubber for the visiting Reds. Ryan Freel hopes to add to his 14-game hitting streak.

Santana praises "Halos" with solid performance, Angels take series!!!!!

Anaheim, CA - The O's fell short in capturing the series this evening in Anaheim. The "Birds" got off to the lead in the 4th after Nick Markakis drove in his 14th RBI of the season, but the rest of the evening would be filled with lost opportunities for the visitors from the east. The lead would vaporize in the bottom half of the 4th off of a home run by Vladimir Guerrero to even things at 1-1. In the 5th with two outs, the Angels got a single from Torii Hunter followed by a double to the gap in left center by Mike Napoli, who continued to haunt the O's this series. In the 6th, the O's managed to get back to back stolen bases in the inning from Alex Cintron and Brian Roberts. They would get to 2nd and 3rd respectively before Santana was able to get Mora to fly out to right to end the threat. Things remained tight until Orioles' starter Brian Burres had to leave the game early in the bottom of the 6th with a blister on his throwing hand. He will be out 1-6 days as he recovers. The Angels took advantage when Juan Rivera extended his 14 game hitting streak off of reliver Dennis Sarfate by capping the scoring with a two run home run to left center field and putting this game in the bag for the "Halos". The Orioles fall to 9.0 games back in the division as the head up state to face the Oakland Athletics for a 3 game series starting tomorrow night.

Hopefully I'll get one. I don't think I've ever played a game so hard to be consistent in. Some teams just have my number before we even get on the field. I think I'm like 7-9 on the road and 5-12 at home or something like that. Need to play better at Camden Yards.

Again,I hate to harp on this, but when you're not the acting GM,you can't build your team to take advantage of your home park which in baseball is critical. For me,I set out to make my middle infield very good defensively first, then from there I go to the hill, then CF and then finally, the power positions.I stole this theory from George Weiss, the architect of the great Yankee teams of the late 40's through the early 60's.It sorta worked for them......

Chavez leads A's over O's in series opener!!!!!

Oakland, CA - The Orioles once again struggled in the offensive department in Oakland this evening. Baltimore managed to scrape only one run against Athletics starter Chad Gaudin and that came on a throwing error in the 5th inning by shortstop Bobby Crosby. The game was tied in the 6th when A's designated hitter Eric Chavez delivered his 2nd homerun of the year to left field to put the A's up for good. Chavez delivered another RBI and scored a run in the 8th for insurance and closer Huston Street shut the O's down in the 9th to secure his 7th save of the season. The two teams will go at it again tomorrow night.

Also one thing on your set-up... in your Orioles dynasty for 07, you had at the end of every game your stat leaders for some of the main stats... it would be cool to see those again, but its up to you. Keep up the great work
