I have it at 3. I've played games before starting my franchise with it at 10. I can't have it any higher than 3-4. Last year it was the same way. I was late on every pitch and it's ridiculous trying to read a pitch with it any higher. I'm very comfortable with it at 3 this year and 4 a year ago. I highly recommend not going any higher than 4.Highheat's O's Franchise

Re: Highheat's Orioles (MLB "The Show" '08) Final Attempt!!!!
Of course it's little easier to read them, but also, they are still tricky, especially the ones close to the zone. I'm still striking out 6 to 7 times a game, so it suits me. I'd rather strike out 6 to 7 times a game and be able to turn on a ball every now and then instead of being late on everything and striking out 10-12 times a game with it higher.Highheat's O's Franchise

A serving of "Fowl Bird" spoils "Mother's Day" in Kansas City!!!!!
Kansas City, MO - The Royals brought out the powder blue uniforms today for "Mother's Day" at Kauffman Stadium in hopes of turning things around, but the Orioles came prepared and spoiled the party in rout to their 3rd straight victory. Luke Scott got things rolling in the 4th, extending his hitting streak to 12 games, when he doubled to the gap in left center field gap to bring Aubrey Huff all the way home from 1st to put the O's out in front. The Royals evened things up in the bottom of the 5th when John Buck lined one down the line in right just high enough to clank off the fair/foul pole for a home run. In the top of the 6th, Aubrey Huff continued his red hot hitting this series delivering hit number 10 of the series, a single to left to plate Alex Cintron to give the O's a 2-1 advantage. Things got a little sticky in the bottom of the 7th as the Royals loaded the bases with 1 out against Baltimore starter Garrett Olson, but Olson would strike out Mark Teahen looking and Joey Gathright hacking to escape the jam. The "Birds" then added insurance runs in the 9th inning off of singles from Luke Scott and Kevin Millar to put the game out of reach for good. George Sherrill was a little shaky in the last of the 9th, but managed to come through and record his 11th save of the season. Baltimore takes their winning streak to an off day tomorrow before a 2 game showdown with 1st place Boston Tuesday night!!!!!

Re: Highheat's Orioles (MLB "The Show" '08) Final Attempt!!!!
Thanks man, I'm glad it's only two games against them. Then I have another off day. I should get well rested after that. At least I'm hitting them when I'm playing well. My last 3 starters have given this team the boost they've needed. I'll finish posting stats tomorrow.Highheat's O's Franchise
