LOL!! The excitement was there, that's for sure. Even when it was 2-1 and they still didn't have a hit. I'm looking forward to seeing if I get any All-Stars. Bradford should go, but we'll see.

        Randy Wolf Takes A Lickin!!!!!

Victorious Braves beat up Randy Wolf, scoring 6 runs off him.

The Braves treated the Padres like a rag-doll, clubbing them 12-4 in front of the Padres home crowd that was silent most of the game. Chipper Jones demolished the Padres, mashing 2 home runs and driving in 3 runs while getting 4 hits in 4 at-bats. Though he only worked 5.1 innings, Chuck James earned his 2nd win of the season, giving up 2 hits and 1 run before the bullpen took over.

              All-Star Break Time!!!!!

With the All-Star break upon us, it's time to put the first half of the season to bed. That's good news for teams that have struggled and could use the rest, but it also means the season is more than half over.

There's still plenty of baseball to be played, however, and for most teams there's still a chance to turn things around.

No worries on that score for the Yankees. They're rolling along at 64-32, the best record in the majors, and look to fend off the other contenders the rest of the season.

New York, NY - The National League picked up the win tonight at the 79th annual All-Star game at Yankee Stadium. The NL got a 2-run home run off the bat of Chase Utley in the 1st to push the NL boys out to a 2-0 lead. In the 2nd, Adrian Gonzalez added to the lead with a solo shot of his own making it 3-0. After a Chipper Jones homer in the top of the 6th, making the game 4-0, the AL responded with a 2-run bottom of the 6th, but that would be all the AL would muster against the dominant pitching of the NL, as the NL earned home field advantage for the World Series with a 4-2 victory. On a side note for the Orioles, George Sherrill retired the only batter he faced in the game by getting Carlos Lee to fly out to left field.

                  Scoring Summary

                  Player Of The Game

Chase Utley took home the 79th annual All-Star MVP
trophy by going 1-for-4 on the night with a 2-run
home run that set the pace for the National League's

The NL prevailed in the 79th midsummer classic last night, taking care of the AL by the score of 4-2 in front of a standing-room-only crowd at Yankee Stadium.

The victory give the NL pennant-winner home-field advantage in this year's World Series.

                            Second Season Begins!!!!!

Now that the All-Star game is behind us, it's time to gear up for the all-important second half of the season.

Can the New York Yankees maintain their league-leading 64-32 record to clinch the AL East? The next two-and-a-half months look to be even more exciting than the first half.
