Tough start. Sucks Piper went down before he had a chance.

Anyway, I know this sounds like a stupid question, but how do you get the table in there for your depth charts? Like how do you code that in? Could never figure it out on my own.

    Keep up the great work.

I really didn't expect you to be 0-3, damn, Mud.

What sliders are you rolling with anyways? I might give M25 another shot if there is going to be a legimate challenge like what you're experiencing.

Been using GJD23 & WTBB's Madden 25 All-Madden sliders. I know they're not intended for coach mode so I may do some research and see what I can find. I do love a challenge but taking a beat-down week-in and week-out would be as atypical as winning 'em all.

            Off The Schnide:

            Broncos Buck Cowboys, 40-9

What was missing from the Denver Broncos’ repertoire as they began the 2016 season with an 0-3 start? An error-free Jake Locker, a running game, and defense. Against the visiting Dallas Cowboys, the Broncos got all three, and as a result what began as a kicker’s duel in the first half ended as a rout in the second and Denver is winless no more. After breaking a 9-9 tie with the game’s first touchdown, the Broncos blanked the ‘Boys 24-0 in the second half for a 40-9 victory that was totally unexpected given how the season began. Locker completed 22 of 33 passes for 261 yards and 2 touchdowns without turning the ball over, Montee Ball rushed for 127 yards and the Denver D maintained a stranglehold on Dallas that kept Ben Gomez & co. out of the end zone. Both teams are now 1-3.

Streaks ended for both the Broncos and the Colts last week, with Denver getting its first win of the season and Indy losing for the first time in 2016. To continue those reversals, the Broncos are going to need to replicate the solid performances they got on several fronts, otherwise they're going to fall to 1-3.

Updates are lagging by about 10 weeks of games. I'll spare you the misery: win no. 1 doesn't come until Week 12 and they're currently 2-11. Brandon Weeden FTL.

You've gotta be joking... How did Weeden even get to New England? And who are the other QBs? What happened to the AFC?!

                              Big Ponies Beat Little Ponies

It’s a lot easier to win games when your opponent doesn’t find the end zone, as the Denver Broncos have learned over the past two weeks. During their 0-3 start, the Broncos had no less than 34 points scored on them in each outing, but for the second week in a row the Denver defense held an opposing offense to a trio of field goals. This week the visiting Indianapolis Colts crawled out to a 9-0 lead, and another Denver demise appeared to be in the offing, but the Broncos scored the game’s final 20 points to improve to 2-3. The game’s only touchdowns came on a pair of Jake Locker touchdown passes in the final four minutes of the first half. Locker was once again error-free, and it seems as though the closer Zac Piper gets to his injury-delayed debut, the better Locker is playing. That’s not a bad thing, but it shouldn’t have any impact on who starts once Piper is green-lighted. Montee Ball also had another solid outing rushing for 97 yards on 97 carries for a 5.7 average. On defense, the Broncos recorded three sacks and edge corners Aqib Talib and Kayvon Webster each had an interception. The closest the Colts came to reaching pay dirt was at the end of the game, when they turned the ball over on downs at the 4 with 6 seconds to go.

The first post-Brady year was also bad for the Pats as they were picking 5th. Sad thing is that after they rejected our first round trade offer they passed on Piper and picked a linebacker. They did later draft a guy named Anthony Ruiz who is 75 OVR and may be starting next year. If I was doing 32 team control like I normally do, there is no way I would have had the Pats even pursue Weeden as a FA. Perhaps in this particular alternate universe Mr. Kraft has passsed and some Bozo is running the show, although I can picture the Hoodie making one of his stank faces at the mere thought of Weeden being his QB.
