as long as both sides keep talking and having these meetings that is a good sign. Hopefully we get a new CBA next month.Comment

Re: Official CBA Thread
Recent reports indicate there probably will be, but I'll believe it when I see it. Goodell and Smith having a "jovial 2 hour dinner" goes a long way towards restoring my faith that they've gotten over any bad blood all the rhetoric has generated.Comment

Re: Official CBA Thread
Optimism is soaring right now though -- well in comparison to the last few months. Even Peter King's MMQB strongly suggests that a deal is forthcoming. I think one will be done in time to do a full training camp -- although I think they'll be less intense initially to get players into football shape.Comment

Yeah i've been hearing really good news as well. As long as it's quiet between the Owners and Players than I think we're well on our way to a deal. I wouldn't be surprised if there's one hammered out by July 4th.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Both sides remain guardedly optimistic. Sources have characterized the owners and players as being in a "deal-making mode" and hope to make significant progress over the next two or three days. You looking at the Chair MAN!
