Tom Brady is open to accepting some form of suspension, but only if it can be for failing to cooperate with the NFL rather than admitting to the Wells' Report findings, per league sources. The NFL...

And Mike Florio has heard the same thing.

Majority with him willing to accept a reduced suspension.

We've had conflicting reports on just about everything surrounding this story since day one. What I posted was more a joke to point fun at how silly the whole thing has become.

I was just about to post this. This was a great read.

Interesting part where at the rookie orientation a former player came in and said "get a fall guy."

I've heard interesting things about those rookie symposiums. I dated a girl whose Dad coached at Texas. She told me that one of the former players told her Dad that they got information about how to hit their women and not leave marks. This was a long time ago, but still.

What's crazy is Borland getting a drug test from the NFL a month AFTER he retired.

The optimistic side of me says this was within context. My brother was a total ****head as a teenager, and the cops told my dad he can lay hands on him as long as he doesn't leave a mark. No evidence, ya know? I'd imagine it went something like that but who knows... not exactly PC.

Made sense from their perspective that he might want to just dodge a test then come back later when anything would be out of his system. Probably written into the CBA somewhere that they have X amount of time to conduct one even after retirement. But Borland getting an independent test was damn smart.

That's what came across most in this article (which is fantastic). Borland seems like a really bright guy who's not afraid to question the status quo. We accept so much as the norm in life without really thinking about it.

So according to Schefter RGIII has a 16M dollar guarantee if he's injured this year.

Boy, his agent sure did some good work there.

He's still on his rookie deal. That 5th year option is available for teams to use on all 1st round picks. His is so high because of the position he plays.

Redskins haven't extended him and they probably won't unless he has an unreal season.

So a team like Buffalo may offer starter money to him in free agency based on raw ability.

                        But otherwise approaching bust territory.

He was fated to bust status the moment he was drafted by the Redskins.

                            Meh.

I think Griffin will be above average on his 2nd team. This whole R's situation is just too toxic. Time for everybody to move on.

                              Above average you say?

RG3 could be what's standing between Jeff Fisher and 9-7.

This completely ignores the fact that before he was injured, he was named Offensive Rookie of the Year and was the talk of the league.
