He seems like a trash competitor, not much sporting gamesmanship from him.

Jets WR got clobbered on a hit....think I saw him spit up blood walking to the sideline.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

So did you guys actually watch the game and saw the play as it happened or just the replay without the context of the Brady pump fake like everyone else? I get his reputation doesn't give him the benefit of the doubt but it's not out of the question that he bit hard on the pump fake and made a bad read.

For at least stomping on someone's leg, he should be fined and suspended more games, similar to another player, Suh.

There's just no room for stupidity on a football field.

That's not including the lowlight of the low hit that's been playing around the media.

I didn't see the pump fake before, so that makes sense as to why he went after Bennett. But you can't justify the way he went after Bennett. There's another player that bit on the fake, too. But notice he didn't dive at Bennett's knees. Burfict has a long history of this kind of play. When he feels he has a chance to hurt someone, for whatever reason, he takes it.

Okay so how are you certain that it was an intentional dirty hit? Did Burfict tell you himself? If not, you're just speculating like everyone else is and you're automatically assuming the worst because of his reputation. Which I don't blame you, I probably would too if I wasn't a Bengals fan. But to completely dismiss the possibility that he bit hard on what was a solid pump fake is asinine.

Lol, you realize it still would have been dirty even if he did bite on the pump fake right?

I'm not sure what you mean? If the ball is actually caught by Bennett, you're saying that tackle would've resulted in a flag?

The pump was to the outside receiver and the hit was the equivalent of a cut block by an offensive lineman.

The thought process here though is Burfict thinks the ball is going to Bennett. If it did, his tackle would've stopped him immediately and I'm pretty sure Gronk gets tackled like that all the time, so I don't think it would warrant a flag. Am I wrong?

It would have been an easy flag for being early. Not really a hard call at all.
