Got the 3Bays GSA Pro for Valentines day
It's pretty cool. Swung twice so far (9 Iron) inside and really shows (even though I didn't think I was) me coming a bit over the top, but correcting in time to get swing on path. Also shows a shallow follow through and not as much towards the target as I want to be.

Hopefully tomorrow is nice and I can get out and hit some balls.

Still need to decide on a driver. Ebay has an R11 for under 200.00 I am looking at... Just not sure yet.

Buddy I golf with bought the R11 new off EBay for $179 plus shipping 2 weeks ago. I hit it a few times at the range and that baby is hot of the face. You probably won't be disappointed.

Well I'm done. I hit a few including the R11s (which I wasn't going to get anyways), AMP etc..
and I picked up the Rocketballz. Felt really nice off the face and just a tad loud but ok with that.

I'll post my witb when I get time..............

Are any of y'all a part of golfwrx? Just discovered it and it looks like a good golf forum.

Yes. I've been there for years now. Best golf forum out there hands down. All the top teaching pros and names in golf visit that place.

Not to mention an incredible Classified section for everything golf - be mindful of your wallet, lol.

Is this a good beginner set?

Started playing golf last year, but been watching it for much longer. Didn't really get to go out much last year because I didn't get out until end of August. Plan on buying a good beginner set like that one if it's good, and actually playing a lot more.

                      The link didn't work.

If you're looking for a beginner set, make sure it is customized to you first. That is the biggest hinderance of all golfers I meet. They don't have their clubs sized for them.

My recommendation is go to a custom golf club site. I always recommend gigagolf because you can customize your clubs online - and their quality is very good.

For me, it's about the price. I'm cool with everything being customized, but I don't wanna spend much on a set that I just wanna use to start. I'll have to check it out.

I'm the same way, a full set can be under $300 (the cost of a name brand driver).

$350 would be my limit. Guess I'll have to check around.

Might be a stupid question, but how do you exactly figure out what best fits you. I'm guessing it's like a shoe or shirt, something related to that. Is there like a measurement to figure out?

Headed to the Masters this year for the first time, really looking forward to it. I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone ever been and have any tips?
