Gotta love the internet. Going Sunday to play Sparrows Point. Its a private country club near the water in Baltimore. They had something on the web, about a twosome getting to play a round for $150. Which isn't too bad given how it looks and what I have read about it. Should be a good time.

In the market for a decent camera to record my rounds. Nothing fancy and not to use for swing analysis.. just to be able to watch my shots later with a cold beer

Any suggestions? GoPro? Sony Action Cam?
Was looking at the GoPro White as I'm not sure the extra 100.00 Silver version is really needed for what I want.

I would like one that captures enough detail to see the ball flight..at least the first part of it.

Played a round yesterday at Burlington Springs, in Burlington, Ontario. Hadnt played the course yet this year, and I must say, after a whole bunch of focus on my swing and leveling out my game, I shot a 96, which for me, is a great score. No part of my game shone, but no part failed me either. Was a really nice to have an even game.

Today totally sucked. Played at a very nice understated course not long at all around 6.500 yards but it was a nice challenge. Too bad I woke up today with literally no swing whatsoever. The only thing that made the round enjoyable was the flat stick. I took some pressure off my grip and I was rolling the ball beautifully 4 one putts each from outside of 10 feet.

Worst part of the round, at some point my game golf unit popped off and we couldn't find it. I would be out $250 but I had an extra unit laying around so no harm no foul.

I had one that wasn't charging (or so I thought) so they sent me another one, well low and behold the problem was the cord I was using to charge them with so...

Just shot my personal best score. Shot a +5 77! Had an amazing front nine which could've easily been 1 or 2 under if I could've made some of my birdie putts. Back nine was a bit of a let down as I started to lose control of my driver a bit and started missing fairways. I could've easily shot +1 or +2 on the back nine if it wasn't for my poor play off the tee.

Nonetheless I'm pretty stoked right now. All the work I've put in the last 5-6 months is starting to pay off!

Played a round today with a friend. It was not good. 40 putts, which for me is a really bad number. I can usually get around in 30 putts. No real reason to explain the putter today. Greens were challenging, but not overly hard. I had about 4 puts lip out, and a couple more that despite being downhill just never ran out.

I am really starting to crank on my driver. I was getting ready to give up on the Nike Convert 2.0 and go back to the R1, but the distance I am getting out it now is about 5-7 less than the R1 on miss hits and nothing if not longer on pure strikes.

Closed out a strong second quarter so I play to play a lot more with the bonus money coming this next pay check. That should help, finally got my wrist hinge feeling good.

Yeah Rich some days I think I'm going to drain everything and others seems like the ball is destined to be hit 3 times.

I have a 12:30 tee time tomorrow.
We bought the WHAG "Tour card" this year.
It's 90.00 for 1 round at 9 courses. Only pay cart fees.
Not 100.00 courses by any means but I'm all about saving $ lol

So far only hit one of the courses.
Played WestPark in Leesburg.
Tomorrow we're hitting Flatbush in PA

played this morning and shot a 104! Goodness gracious I was horrible. I couldn't make a putt to save my behind. 3 putted about 8 of the 18 holes that I played.

Still beats a good day at the office.

Don't know if you've played it but Bulle Rock is a sales commision check type course, it's georgeous. Think it was around 120 when I played there. I think it's in the Havre De Grace area.

Another one, not nearly as expensive but beautiful course is Muskett Ridge. It's about an hour north on 70 past Hagerstown (?) but it's a beautiful course in the middle of nothing and right off the interstate.

Both are on my list this summer. Bulle will be late summer early fall. For the cost I don't want to run out of gas on the back 9. We are hitting Musket Ridge and Maryland National this month.
