Re: Sopranos Season 6 **Warning for finale spoilers**
One plothole. How could AJ joined the military with recently being in psychiatric help? When they did a background check wouldn't he not get in correct once they found out?
I also wonder, when Agent Harris says that "We Got Him" after he hears that Phil is dead............did he mean Phil or Tony? Was Harris setting Tony up?
I was wondering the same thing. Agent Harris thing was a little confusing in this episode.Comment

So what about this quote...
"You probably don't even see it coming"
That leads me to believe Tony got whacked in the end. Although Chase certainly left it up to the viewer to think about.Last edited by Lintyfresh85; 06-10-2007, 11:53 PM.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Agent Harris is still a mystery to me after this past season. I have this feeling that until Chase decides to talk down the road about that ending, we may never know what is meant unless a movie or mini-series releases.Comment

Watching this episode a second time, you learn to appreciate all of the character development and the time they spent with everyone. Chase seems to have gone with many parts throughout this whole episode with intensity. Look at how Patsy gave Tony that look when Tony made that comment about Jason. Even Paulie looked suspicious a few times times during the episode. ****, I thought that Paulie was setting Tony up at first with the whole Carlo missing deal?

We never find out about the NY Snitch, unless it was Butch?
It was a good ending, and either at the end Tony was killed as the screen went black and the music stopped meaning that life had ended for Tony or were left with a first person view from Tony's eyes as he is always on guard with who will kill him next. Or could Tony have had one of his blackouts?
I do think the ending was done so you can think anyway you want. Does the black lean toward death? I think so. Is the more likely scenario, if the show played out a bit more be arrest? I think so.
Or maybe its like others said- We were whacked or nothing happened. I don't think its Tony with eyes in the back of his head idea since he wasn't really looking around.
It was a classic Sopranos type of ending.Gamertag and PSN Name: RomanCaesarComment

Also him sleeping with that agent... what was that about. I kind of sensed that he slept with her so he can get that info to Tony. Other then that why else show it like that?Comment

Re: Sopranos Season 6 **Warning for finale spoilers**
I think that he slept with her to get that info and she looked pissed off. So it looked like she was just screwing him for the info and then bye-bye.Comment

Re: Sopranos Season 6 **Warning for finale spoilers**
Really loved the last episode. A lot of powerful moments . I like how Chase closed each character's storyline but did not feel the need to have some "big" ending that would have felt manipulative with this being the last episode.
Personally I thought the ending was great. My heart was pounding, like no other show has ever made me feel, for the entire duration of "Don't Stop Believin'." The story of the Sopranos will go on but our experiences with them is ending. Very reminiscent of Godfather Part II where Michael is sitting alone contemplating all that has happened and will happen in his life.
The ending was open ended but not in a sequel sense. I just do not see a movie being made. All the creative forces behind this show seem to want to move on to different projects. Also I do not believe Tony was going to be whacked at the end, all of that stuff was just to build tension. The New York feud is settled and the New Jersey family is happy, who would want to whack a boss and start a war? It would not make sense. The big trouble that Tony will face is a court trial, which will be tough to beat with Carlos flipping. I do not see the Sopranos story continuing in any way. The only thing I would not mind seeing would be a look back to the days Tony was young and running around with Silvio and Jackie Apriel and Jonny Boy and Uncle Junior were running the New Jersey crew.
I'm happy the finale was so well crafted and fit in with the past Soprano episodes. But I'm also sad to see a show, that is my favorite piece of art ever made, end...Comment

I still am really unsure about the cat. I know someone mentioned it was Adrianna in joking but wasn't her hair reddish blonde? I don't know, i am trying to find some meaning in the cat and Harris sleeping with the chick. Wasn't she the chick that Adrianna used to talk to in the car?Gamertag and PSN Name: RomanCaesarComment

Also any thoughts of why Tony and his family were at some cheap diner? Of all the dinners they had together not one was at some cheap diner.
The only time I can think of Tony even being at a diner was with Bobby late night after Bobby got promoted by Junior.Comment

The cat idea is weird. But that scene when Tony got up and left Paulie to himself to tan and the cat walks in and lies down some what by Paulie. Any meaning behind that? If anything maybe the cat is represented by Chris. Catching mice (doing the job) but still getting dissed. (Paulie with the comments/broom.) Either way that scene with Paulie just tanning was sad because he was the only one there instead of all those characters there.

I also wonder why if Tony got clipped we see in a first person view when the whole show was third person. Just seems odd that the last minute of the show is Tony's view when the first 70 hours were third person. Then again LOST jumped to the future in the finale (or jumped the sharkGamertag and PSN Name: RomanCaesarComment

The cheap diner is a good question but Tony has been there before as he mentioned the onion rings, but AJ hadn't been there. Was that the restaurant that Tony curbed that NY guy in? i swear i saw that mural Tony looked at when he first entered before.
