I was under the impression that Superman wasn't really selling very well anyways. I mean, I think as long as you don't mess with/up the characters who are big right now, you're probably going to be fine.

The All Star Superman movie-Is it worth watching or would you be better off reading the 12 book comic series?

I'd say read the comics first. They were both decent for me. My friend calls the series his all time best but to each their own.

I read through the first volume of the Uncanny X-Men and loved it. I'll have to get the second volume when I get home.

I really like all the relationships thus far and while some of the dialogue and situations are corny, the characters and the team relationship is awesome. I think Storm is becoming my favorite X-Man with her noble intelligence and general badassery. Her relationship with Colosus is done really well, too.

What are some good Wolverine and Punisher series to get?

So following the news that MOST past major events like The Killing Joke, a Death in the Family and Identity Crisis still canon if they fit with the new direction of things i'm not as rageface about the DCnU as i was. Also, after reading the direction they're going to take Catwoman, i'm really liking that part. Well, i like whats going on with Batman anyway. I don't follow the rest of the DCU that much, if at all.

Also, i'm not gonna get screwed on what Morrison set up on Batman as they're bringing it back to finish in '12.

The original Punisher Max book (Garth Ennis' run from 1-60) is said to be some of the best Punisher material out there though seeing as it's from the Max line it's gory and has a lot of swearing and such. Anyways Ennis' work are collected in these TPBs

                    Vol. 1: In the Beginning
                    Vol 2: Kitchen Irish
                    Vol 3: Mother Russia
Vol 4: Up is down and Black is White
Vol. 5: The Slavers (i've heard this is the best of the TPBs
                    Vol 6: Barracuda
                    Vol 7: Man of Stone
                    Vol 8: Widowmaker
                    Vol 9: Long Cold Dark
Vol 10: Valley Forge, Valley Forge (This is the contender against The Slavers as best arc)

Those are 60 issues in his run.

If The Killing Joke is still cannon then that makes Barbara Gordon as Batgirl even more puzzling as Babs seems to be perfectly okay nowadays with the fact she can't walk.

Well i'll give it a shot and yes i'm glad G-Mozz gets to finish Batman Incorporated

Yep, the Allstar Superman books were so good that they gave me chills at times. Morrison understands the character to his core. The only frustrating thing was that I was reading them as they were released and they kept missing deadlines constantly. 12 books took 3 years to release. Which is almost absurd really. The story more than made up for it though, up there with Superman For All Seasons as my all time favorite Superman tale.

I still haven't seen the movie yet. Its hard to find in stores over here.

it is quite confusing, and if it is still canon they better explain why she can walk. They CLAIM things will be explained, but you never know.

once Jeff Loeb destroyed the Ultimate universe i no longer care what happens in that end of the Marvel lines. Sucks too because USM and X-Men were excellent pre "Ultimates"
