    Re: Fringe anyone?

What's the reason Bell can't comeback?

It was hinted at that 2 people can't be in the same place at once. That would mean the Bell from the other world is dead or not there.

Weird thought, Peter is Bell from the other world, but that only works if the time lines are not the same.

      Re: Fringe anyone?

My assumption has been that Bell can't come back because he'd be killed immediately.

Yeah, he said things about how hard the trip across dimensions is and that he barely made it through alive the last time.

I have to rewatch this episode. Lots of little things with Broyles that I want to take in a bit more.

Not too hard to spot the observer in this last episode.

A lot of exposition on the observers, their link to Peter and Walter and further confirmation that Peter is from another reality. It by no means answered all the questions, but it answered some (and really seemed to put the observers as enemy combatants thing to bed).

Even before the last two episodes, I thought of Fringe as my number one show, but after these last two, it is on a lofty perch, high above all others.

John Noble is crafting Walter Bishop into one of the most memorable television characters ever.

                        Re: Fringe anyone?

This was a great episode. Bishop's B story was incredibly interesting and could have carried the episode on its own. Actually, I'm going to say that it did. I found Walter's story more intriguing than the parasitic worm.

Also, I really do hope that Walter and Astrid are more of a father-daughter relationship love because their connection was sort of creepy.

I have to say I agree with both of those posts.

Walter is just an amazing character that I just like more and more every time he's on screen, he definitely carries the show for me.

Walter and Peter are definitely the two best characters on the show for me.

Olivia and Broyles are both good as well, though. Most of the acting is just top-notch on this show and when you combine that with the storylines and such...well, you have one of the best shows on television, and what I'd consider the second best show on standard television right now (Dexter takes the cake overall, I'd rank House above Fringe for the non-premium shows).

I like how they're slowly having Walter become more and more competent. Nothing drastic, just little things here and there.....and then you see his quirks like finding the perfect smoothie flavor. Awesome.

Walter made such a mess in that episode with the smoothie. I can't believe he did all of that because his favorite smoothie place was closing down.

His quirks will never go, but it is nice to see him developing as a person. To piggyback on Longhorn's comment, this is a lot of the reason why Fringe is such a good show. It's development of character is some of the best on network television.
