There is no need to break in plasmas any longer.
As for the poster that bought the 64D7000 congrats, you just bought yourself a great great great plasma. You will be blown away at how incredible the colors are compared to the Panny.
As for the poster that bought the GT30....Sorry to say but that tv has major issues which I will explain. I bought it on Friday from Best Buy and came with 2 glasses and Avatar 3d. Great gift
But the floating brightness on that tv is horrible and the best mode on that tv is the THX mode but the gama on that setting is ruined and makes the colors washed out.
Dont even try to use standard more because it has the worst floating brightness of all settings and Panny even admitted to it and will see if they can fix. Doubt it
Some of the better calibrators have stated that the ST version which is the step down from the GT are better in terms of gama but the floating brightness is still there. It was so bad that it hurt my eyes at times.
Sure you will love the blu ray on it and you should since it looks incredible as well as 3D but gaming was horrible in custom or game mode due to the floating brightness.
If I were you I would return it and get the lower end ST but get the bigger size and would be about the same price.
Or get the Sammy which has it all and is rated the best plasma this year by Cnet.
