Just about any immortal technique song is the most conscience song.

Yeah, right here. My cousin told me about them and I checked them out on purevolume.com and like their song "Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck".

The Gorillaz are pretty damn good. When does the new CD come out?

More people should take advantage of BMG.

Why do some of you consider Tupac overrated?

He is one of my top 3 favorite musicians, and I'm curious why others feel otherwise.

He never really had a classic album, and his lyrics were comparable to HS poetry.

              Man had charisma though.

Stranger's Almanac is quite possibly the best album released in the 90s.

Re: Your opinions in Music that many would disagree with

                  OK...OK.... I'll play....

                  - Tupac was an Actor, not a Musician. The fact that people overlooked his days in Digital Underground and wanna-be acting career and labeled him "hardcore" is one of the greatest "poser" feats in history. And, his music was worse than his acting.

                  - Eminem is NOT a good rapper, he's a sideshow...a clown. If MM were black, he'd be the next Biz Markie. Instead, because he has a schtick, he's innovative and gifted.

                  - Green Day's "Kerplunk" may be the best album (track for track) to come out in the last 25 years.

                  - People want to mourn the loss of Cobain and John Lennon because of the years of great music that went unwritten. I think both of their best days were behind them. The artist who I think died with a lot of songs left to sing was Jim Croce.

                  - Elvis may be overrated musically, but you can't argue his charisma. No one owned a stage like Elvis.

                  - There were more great rap albums released from '88-'93 than the 12 years since.

                  - "Grunge" was 70's Southern Rock with dirtier hair.

                  - Like him or hate him, you have to respect Garth Brooks for staying retired for as long as he has. The Rolling Stones would have had 8 tours by now.

                  - Blues Traveler blew a golden opportunity to take over the "Deadheads" when Jerry died.

                  - The list of talented female performers is VERY short and starts with Sarah.

                  - Country music has had a 20 year long indentity crisis. It's been trying to be Rock, R&B, Soul, Jazz, and even Hip Hop, and forgot how to be country.

                  - The art of the "tear-jerker" song has been dead for 25+ years.

                  - Jimi Hendricks opening for The Monkees has got to be one of the most amazing events in musical history that noone realized was taking place at the time.

I probably have more...but this should be enough for now...

                      I disagree.

Phish have had a strong grip on the "deadhead" community since the mid 90's. Next to the 'Dead', Phish is one of the greatest improvisational bands ever.

The two most overrated bands of all time are Nirvana and the Beatles.

I only agree with one of those three.

                          Nirvana = overrated

I can't argue with Phish....but have you ever been to a BT show. BT and, believe it or not, Barenaked Ladies were the closest things I've ever seen to a Deadshow (I saw the Dead three times).

I have never met anyone that likes Bruce Springsteen very much. Lots of people like a one or two of his popular songs, but I'm the only one I know that has all his albums. There are things about the Springsteen I don't agree with like his politics and stuff, but I love his music.

I've never been to a BT show, nor the Dead. I've been to about 20 Phish shows, and I imagined that's what Dead shows would be like.
