The bands of today can't hold a candle to the bands of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Doors, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Eagles, Def Leppard, Queen, Jethro Tull, Steve Miller Band, Rush, Grateful Dead, Doobie Brothers, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Bad Company. You will NEVER, and I mean NEVER EVER see bands of that talent and caliber on the planet again. Truth be told, I do like some of the music today, but I'm VERY selective about it. But a lot of it feels so recycled and rehashed IMO. A lot of these bands can't even play their insturments, let alone cut singles and albums. They've got no rhythm or style. Call me old fashion, call me what you will, but that's just the way I feel. That was the whole point of the thread right? Peace.
