I've already gotten caught stealing by accident and done hard time in prison.
OMG LMAO I did too I was trying to steal a horse then I was caught and gave in to the imperial guards so I spent time in the pokey. This game is unbelieveable.

      Great. Addictive. Game.

I've only played about 2 hours and 45 minutes, so far. At this point I've gotten out of the sewers and started clearing out the ruins you see when you first exit. Part of the way in, I noticed that my encumbrance level was almost full, so I left the ruins to start selling some items. I plan to finish clearing it out, later. So now, I start down the road to Choydinhal, and run into an orc woman riding a horse. I thought about taking her out and swiping the horse, but my character is a thief, not a murderer, so I let her go. As I continue down the road, I run into a battered fort and killed a couple of goblins that were outside it. This is where I stopped playing for the night. I'm contemplating whether I want to search the fort immediately, or wait until I've sold off some stuff, to make room for more loot.

So much to do and I haven't even picked up a side quest, joined a guild, or started thieving, yet. I can't wait to play more.

You're going to end up paying 59.99 later when you could've paid 44.99 at CUSA now.

          YES!

I played this game WAY too late last night. OMFG how huge is this world? The way that I play this game, it will take me a year to finish it. I take my time. ANd I"m ok with that!

Graphics are unbleievalbe. Load times are short (PC Version). The physics are amazing. SOOOO addictive. I watched my wife play for a few hours (She was a Morrowind freak) and them I was up til 2 I played about 5 hours and just got out of the prison and into the main city. I practived speechcraft a lot! They have a brand new system, makes it much harder to improve people's opinions of you. I'm an Imperial Knight, so my speechcraft is very important.

SOOOO long to go, but WOW..... This may end up a slam dunk GOTY...back to playing!

How do you tell if you are encumbered? Thanks.

Am I mising something or is there no screen to see what items you have equipped. The only way to tell seems to be going through all of your inventory.

If you're over encumbered, you won't be able to move. To see your current encumbrance, look in your inventory menu. On the bottom left, there is a feather symbol and next to it is your encumbrance ratio.

IF you use the d-pad, you can use the quick inventory thingy.

You'll get an onscreen message telling you that you are encumbered and you can't move until you drop things one by one from your inventory.

The message goes away and your free to move.

Get to a town, talk to a merchant. You can haggle price BEFORE you offer to buy/sell. ALso try talking to them to improve their opinion of you. You'll pay less, and sell for more.

My nephew and I played this game until about 12 am in the morning after starting about 6 pm! This game is highly addictive! I just closed the first Oblivion gate. This game is sucking away all of my NCAA and GRAW time!
