Pssh...spiders. Turns out they don't like being punched in the face.

My unarmed Khajit is laying waste to all that oppose him. I'm about to go out and see if I can punch some mammoths and giants to death.

Unrelenting Force is still my favorite. Something about pushing enemies off a bridge or hill without fighting is so satisfying.

I use the fire breath one a fair bit. Seems to work well against Ice dragons and trolls etc and usually stuns the enemy enough for me to run in and cleave them in two with my axe....

I thought that was the case, thanks for confirming. I've been kind of disappointed with the shouts so far, but this leads me to believe they will be more interesting as the game progresses.

I had a skyforge two-handed sword given to me after a quest and I smithed it up to a 70 damage. Then during another quest I was disarmed by a boss and noticed later on the damage had gone down to 53. It stayed flawless, but lost damage. So I experimented and dropped another weapon and saw when I picked it up it lost damage too.

Is this a glitch or just something in the game that punishes you for dropping item? That two handed sword was my best to date and I was planning on enchanting it, but now it's not my best and I sold it.

I keep forgetting to switch my amulets. I have one that makes prices at store 10% cheaper, and another than improved blacksmithing by 20%. There have been several occasions where I have bought or smithed many items then later in the game looked at my inventory and saw I didn't use them.

On the contrary, I have put on one of the amulets and forgotten to take them off. Just last night I noticed about 1 hour in that I was wearing my smithing amulet when I normally wear one that adds 30 health points.

A few questions for you guys:

                              1. Lesser Ward - When I use it, do I hold it down the whole time? It looks like it creates a shield.

                              2. I picked up an Animal Allegiance shout - How does it work? I tried and and no animal showed up. Do I need to target an animal? Have one in the area?

I believe Lesser Ward is a spell that only holds as long as you are holding the cast.
For a better protection spell try and find the Oak or Stone Shield spells....big magicka hit...but it works great...
