I've just used Blades Armour with Orcish boots, Steel Gauntlets, and a Nahkriin. It's held up quite nicely.

with the Shield of Ysgramor I'm sitting at 318.
The only point I want a follower is when I need them to carry stuff. Followers take away from my strategy and I'd rather not leave them somewhere and risk the chance of forgetting about them. Most of the times it seems like Lydia will arouse the attention of the guards and basically lead them to where we are at. I tried that for awhile before getting fed up, because there's some tight spaces in the caves and I can't have bandits running up all around me.

The only "high level" armor I've done is an Elven bow and upgrade my thieves' guild armor to superior. I don't like the look of metal armor on my wood elf and leather looks like a skirt. I do like the look of the t-shirt fur armor. I keep forgetting to improve it.

I got sick of Lydia getting in my way and blocking me from getting where I wanted to be when we're in tight spaces. Like if I walk down a narrow staircase, then go "****, forgot something" and I turn around to go back she'd always be blocking my path and I couldn't get around her. And then she wouldn't freaking move.

Where do you get the hearts? I have only found one in my travels and dont remember where.

I was talking about the book method in this game. There is one as well, I saw a Youtube video on it but honestly it looks like too much trouble and really not worth it anyways.
It isn't that bad, if only for the fun of leveling up pickpocketing enough for the last perk, which lets you steal equipped clothes/armor from people standing in front of you.

So now that I've got in on the computer and can play - I created a Mage, and Staves are fun in this game - that you can actually walk around with one and have a spell loaded in the other hand is amazing.

                    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Just had this meeting with all the leaders of Skyrim. I am so GLAD I didn't pick a side in the civil war. Because if I did, this meeting would have been 10 times harder.

I felt like a Boss sitting at the head of the table, telling people what I want done. I was like yeah you going to give that city to him and he going to take your city over here, then you all going to like it because I said so ya dig ? LOL

But damn man every leader in the game remembered EVERYTHING I done in the game so far. So glad I pretty much kept to myself and didn't choose a faction to join other then the Mage college.

                      Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I decided to go ahead and kill a bandit leader in some tower. Demolished everyone through the tower and fast traveled to collect my money. Went back outside and Shadowmere is missing. Traveled back to the tower and went on the top where there is a narrow bridge connecting the two towers. I look down below there there is a river and just up a head a water fall. What do I see? That damn horse's body stuck going up stream against the rock. It must have climbed up the stairs and along the narrow bridge to fight some bandits and fell off. I know this because despite me leaving it way behind before retrying this again it blasted past me to fight up there again. Fortunately the second time it didn't get killed. Damn horse.

I play this game as is goes along. If a companion dies then they die however, I refuse to lose this horse.

Yeah, horses are bullies in this game. They freakin' go chasing down a fight like an addict on withdrawals.

i just decided to join the imperials in the war. i was going to remain neutral, but lately i've been hanging around solitude a lot and thats a pretty nice place, so i joined thier side. plus i've always been sorta against the stormcloaks simply because they are a bunch of racists and their leader is in windhelm aka the crappiest poorest city in skyrim
