Fortify potions allow you to fast travel, which is key IMO.

Is Shearpoint really the hardest dragon altar to clear? I did that **** last night with no problem and am loving the hood-mask.

I thought it was just something I needed to clear. I managed to make it through the Blood Dragon, but that undead necromancer **** roasted me alive.

Man my mage is a beast on the offensive but I get destroyed a lot with only morokei, dragonscale boots and gauntlets as my armor. which only gives an armor rating of 92. Thinking about making daedric then enchanting it when I get enchanting to 100.

My companion and horse proved good distractions. Also the rocks are great cover.

I'm ****ing sick of Ice Wraiths. That's unrelated to what follows, but I needed to say it.

I cleared out the Alftand Ruins tonight. That took ****ing forever. But it was fun as hell. And you make some serious freaking cake doing it, too. There's expensive items everywhere in that place. Can't wait to sell them all and see how much I end up getting for the haul.

Guys, I have a question:

Ok, so I just completed the quest "In My Time of Need." Long story short, I agreed to lure Saadia to the stables. However, I ran ahead to kill Kematu (Dude gave me a surprising challenge) and was successful. I noticed, though, that Saadia wasn't there; she was still inside the Bannered Mare. I told her the Alik'r wouldn't bother her anymore, and it said I completed the quest. However, the objective to "Talk to Saadia" didn't check itself off, even though it shows I cleared the quest. Is this just a bug that doesn't matter? Or will it affect my game in anyway?

The guy popped up out of his casket-bed and I hit him with two arrows before he detected me. Then we danced around until I moved behind rocks for cover. He stopped moving, so I just used the rocks to cover and would pop out with my bow and knock him in the face. It took a couple minutes, but it worked.

I wish my wife would quit saying "Thank you for resolving my ummm, problem." She says that every day because I killed her ex in order to win her love.

Same here, it's really annoying that she has nothing else to say. Although she's pretty hot and brings in a steady income so I can't complain that much:wink:

Anybody get jumped by a Thalmor hit squad? I had the toughest time with these guys, they caught me by surprise when I was wandering through some woods. I managed to take them down after a lot of potion drinking. My character is not made for direct encounters like that- he's a stealthy Khajiit who snipes targets from long distances or taking targets out with dual dagger back stabs up close.

Anybody get jumped by a Thalmor hit squad? I had the toughest time with these guys, they caught me by surprise when I was wandering through some woods. I managed to take them down after a lot of potion drinking. My character is not made for direct encounters like that- he's a stealthy Khajiit who snipes targets from long distances or taking targets out with dual dagger back stabs up close.

Unless it was outside their Embassy I've never been straight up attacked by Thalmor. I've provoked them plenty of times though, hate those bastards. They are to be killed on sight.

It would annoy me, but then she gives me a few hundred gold from her shop profits, and that makes it all better.

I know I wasn't close to their Embassy, there was a group of 4 of them and I found a note on each of their bodies that had an order to kill me. LOL.

Yep, no problem though but it got crowded as a dragon, giant, and two mammoths joined the scrimmage.

2nd time I jumped them before they had a chance.
