Oh ok I see those do make sense. I guess the number it gives you is a generic average number for someone your age and weight maybe.

Yeah man I was watching his post workout interview, he looks like he's put on about 15 pounds of upper body weight since he's been lifting while his foot heals. I looked over at my TV while this page loaded and when I looked back, there he was, 30 years later.

Yeah they aren't very accurate imo. I remember when i used to go to the gym (i work out at home now) there was two different bikes. I could do an identical workout on each of them and get cals burnt readings that were 100-200 different so they must just be a rough estimate. To be honest i think your lower numbers seem more realistic to me. I was amazed to see Sting and OD burning such huge numbers in such short periods of time.

It's all good Stew I know you know your stuff, really making me wish we had the EC stack available here but i don't want to risk being labeled a drug dealer by trying to import some.

One thing to keep in mind for the ultra low cal guys is that its the average that counts. Say you are eating 1000 cals a day then have a "cheat day" where you eat 3000 your average per day for a week is nearly 1300 which is still low but not as crazy. I guess my point is its the overall trend that matters in the long run not whether you are have very low days and very high cal days etc.

I had a weigh in yesterday and i have hit the 10kg (22lbs) lost mark since new years so that was a nice milestone. Not the fastest weight loss but still chugging along nicely.

I eat the foods I enjoy. I eat less quantities of them. Also, my job is physically demanding so when I eat on my lunch most of my calories get burned. I used to weigh 220 pounds in late 2008. Now I am 188 pounds. It is crazy, but I am so happy.

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

Walked my dog in the local park for an hour and 20 minutes today, so I did get some exercise. Decided to pass on getting pizza as my cheat meal and instead made some Beef Stroganoff w/meatballs in the slow cooker. I added a huge amount of whole mushrooms to make it a little healthier...

I am probably in the 1400 calorie range today. So this was a great Saturday for me really, below 1500 calories and over an hour of exercise. I hope it pays off on the Monday weigh in.

Bronkaid (epehindrine HCL) is still sold everywhere as a otc asthma drug. 200 mg no dose and a 80 mg bayer baby aspirin.

EC better and more reliable then back in the hey days. Plus much much cheaper.

Fasting day today. The hardest part is simply forgetting and walking to the refrigerator at times...

actually, Bronkaid is ephedrine sulfate. Primatene (another asthma drug sold otc) is HCL

25 mg of sulfate is = to about 20 mg HCL

however, Primatene is only 12.5 mg of ephedrine HCL per, while Bronkaid is 25, so Bronkaid ends up the better deal anyway

Then I don't feel as bad when I take 3 doses/day for this week haha.

Personally I don't get the jittery feeling some people do. It's probably because I weigh 212 lbs. I will say I have felt a little light headed at times when lifting and felt a little hot when just riding around in my patrol car. Nothing serious though. My f'n appetite has been WAY down.

Going to finish up this week with doing it 3x/day then going to 2x/day next week then 1x/day the last week. Then I'll do the caffeine only for a week. Then I'll go back to 1x/day...I'm going to keep cycling it through the summer.

Well I broke the fast and had a cucumber, piece of turkey, piece of cheese and fresh spinach with some oil & vinegar. Still should be a good day though, I walked for about an hour and a half in the park with my dog..

It may be sold everywhere in the US but it's on the banned substances list here so it would probably be stopped and confiscated at customs. Our government is pretty tight about this sort of thing and bodybuilding.com has even stopped shipping protein to Australia because it was getting stopped by customs. Was a shame too because it was so much cheaper to get my On double choc protein powder from them then it was to buy it locally.
