Lol i friggin hate it when that happens.

I keep flicking through the radio stations and hear that pathetic "shorties like a melody in my head, like an ipod stuck on replay" song and while i hate the song with a passion it gets into my brain and i can't get it out.

Jonesy - I'd love to help you but I'm terrible at those things. That's why i think i just like to do cardio because I overthink the hell out of what you're asking and it's too mentally exhausting. I like just getting on the elliptical or bike for 45 minutes and GOING.

Here is my main song I'm using a lot each day for my workout. This really gets me going for both weights and cardio!

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

I've got a few go-to songs that I always have to hear 2-3 times when I work out...

-Instrumental by Nightwish

-Take Off by Yung LA and Young Dro

-the Alabama fight song

-Roll Tide(theme to Crimson Tide) by James Fitzpatrick

If you're not a Bama fan, check out the 1st song. Even if you've done the reps you want to do, it'll make you want to keep lifting til the song is over.

Guys, thanks for the advice, but I'm going to work out my way. I went the first time with an iPod and I'm MUCH happier doing it with the Simpsons. I'm not looking to put on a lot of muscle with a ton of heavy lifting, I just want to be skinny... plus I need to build endurance since I've never really had any.

You can also use the bands to replace a pull-up bar.

That's what I had to do in the new apartment.

Anyone else into making their own smoothies?

All you need is a blender, fruit, and ice.

One of my favorites to make:

Banana
Ice
Milk
Peanut Butter
Oatmeal
Concrete evidence/videos please

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

I had a nice, although a little high calorie, breakfast:

Whole Wheat Wrap (80)
Turkey Sausage, split into 2 (150)
1 brown egg (70)
1 slice provolone cheese (60)
Salsa (10)
dash of Miracle Whip Light (30)
dash of Ketchup (20)
TOTAL CALORIES: 420

I probably could have gone with the lowfat cheese and saved 15 calories but I was in a terrific rush out the door. I cooked the sausage then split the egg over it and gently poked the yolk so it was over easy tasting. Delicious and filling but like I said, a little higher on the calories than I would have liked. At least it's a nice change from cereal and/or fruit every day though and this is loaded with protein.

What goes into a smoothie? That may be a dumb question but I'd like to make some. I can buy those frozen bags of berries and use those correct?

Lost almost 4 lbs yesterday. I walked 27 holes of golf. I should just do that everyday instead of going to the gym. Wish I could

I tried the whole turkey sausage thing last week for the first time and almost threw up. I love regular sausage *waits for jokes* too much.
