Great job Pete!! Keep it going man.

I also wanted to let you guys know that my g/f and I went to the mall to get me some new shirts and every single shirt in the stores we went to were all too small, even the XXXL size. I was so embarrassed but at the same time surprised because while i'm still fat I'm not even close to being huge anymore. Guess I gotta keep shopping at the fat store.

I'm 6 foot and 253 pounds, so it's not like i'm obese like Della Reese anymore, so I don't get it. The sizes at the stores we went to must have run small is all I could figure. I can fit into an XL NFL jersey but yet a XXXL shirt at the mall is too small? WTF? LOL!

Odogg, I'm in a 3xl right now from champion and it fits me and I'm 6'5" 335 currently so yeah, those shirts are very small. I tend to buy most of my clothes from Old Navy as they usually fit and I'm cheap!

Just don't shop at Rinitze like George did. The place with the Elaine mannequin. You'll end up with business suit where the pants swoosh everytime you move.

MACKENZIE: Sure you didn't hear anything? GEORGE: No, can't say as I did.
MACKENZIE: Kind of like a... rustling.
        GEORGE: Could be the leaves...

Oh yeah. He hid the suit from the other guy and he turned out to be the chef at the restaurant where he was having the business meeting. George was the only one who wasn't violently ill.

Anybody have the insane craving for sweets right after working out? Or is it just me?

I mean I could down anything that is even slightly sweet, whether it be candy, chocolate, fruit, juice, whatever.

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

I usually have a homemade protein shake after working out which is pretty sweet and fills me up so that takes care of that for me.

I've had an awesome 4 days workout/diet wise. I have done 1 hour cardio on the first 3 days then an awesome intense 1 hour fullbody workout last night. I'm a little bit sore this morning (mainly legs/butt from squats/ deadlifts) but i'll still do some more cardio later today.

I'm reading an interesting book at the moment about some of the psychology behind obesity/weightloss and a fair bit of it hits home. I had often been eating out of boredom and loneliness in the past and really need to get that in check. Went i am alone at home i tend to eat junk food even if i'm not hungry and barely even notice i'm doing it which sabotages my hard work. I've started trying to recognize the triggers that make me overeat and by addressing those i'm finding things a lot easier.

Lol that's because you got a sick mind my friend.

I think i'm going to stick with my fullbody workout 3 days per week for a while. I'm going to keep the weights relatively the same but try to increase the pace of the workout each time. I hear fast circuit type training (while still maintaining good form of course) is great for burning lard.....

I bought some spinach and sweet potato's 2d. Getting ready for the plunge.

Whats everyone's opinion on canned salmon? Do you still get the omega'3s and hows the taste?

I'm not a fan of canned salmon. You'd prob still get the same Omega 3's etc but the taste isn't in the same league as real salmon imo. I prefer tuna myself. I need to step up my spinach intake, it's supposed to be a 'wonder food' with heaps of health benefits, shame it usually tastes like ****. Maybe i could cook it with some crushed garlic or something.....

So I hit my first goal weight today, 30Lbs lighter than I was in march. Since I hit my goal weight I kept my own promise that I would start Phase 2 of my exercise regiment. I am going with the Crawl, Walk, Run method.

I had been taking it pretty slow with my PT but I decided to ramp it up when i hit a plateau. I did my first timed run today, 3 miles in about 25 minutes. 2 Of those miles I ran in 16 minutes which I was pretty pleased with.

I am also calling off my favorite food, Chinese food. I decided that I like Thai food and that is healthier than Chinese food so I think i can deal.

Canned fish is Nasty imo, If you want the Omega 3s, just take a fish oil pill.

Smoked sardines aren't bad for the protein, but fish oil is definitely the better thing to do lol.
