Where do you hang it up? I've got a heavy bag and used to hang it in the garage, but we've recently moved, and I don't have anywhere to hang it. Just curious if you had any ideas. I'd love to get back into it, as it's a crazy cardio workout.

Just need to find a stud in the ceiling somewhere.

I helped hang the new one in my gym.

We hung it to the stud, but also ran it through a flange and piece of pvc, to keep it from swaying too much towards the ceiling.

I've never used it, but they do have gloves at the gym.

Just got done with a quick shoulder workout, cracked open a brand new bottle of Syntha-6 afterwards. Strawberry, it is amazing... beats Mochaccino in my mind. Tastes like something you'd get at a gourmet Ice Cream parlor, when mixed with Milk.

I just used a chain and hang mine off the pullup bar in my home gym. I have to take it down / put it up each time because it gets in the way of my power rack a bit but it only takes a minute to do that.

I hit up chest / tri's this morning and all of my chest lifts were down. I put it down to the fact I had just done a pretty brutal boxing session only 12 hours before plus I'm trying to cut some weight so my cals are pretty low. Still a decent pump though.

Anyone here tear their ACL before? How long did it take till you could kick again after surgery? My rehab went off track due to insurance jumbo and what not - so it's been since march of last year since I did rehab work.

I'm mentally exhausted, more than I am physically. I'll probably go out and enjoy a few drinks tomorrow and recover Sunday and get back at it Monday... just need a couple days off to recover.

I haven't been on here in a long while, but I'm sure some will remember from the old Weight Loss thread that I was committed to losing weight. It's slowly coming off. I was 360 at some point 2 years ago. I'm glad to announce that I hit my first weight loss goal of 2012 this past week. That goal was making weight in a UFC division. I weighed in at 265. 95 lbs gone and another 40 to go!

                    Awesome stuff Pete!

Finally got in what I consider a killer tricep workout. This is the first time after working them that they feel swollen, and I can hardly lift my arms. Not to mention chest, which I absolutely killed as well. I've made considerable gains in every area in about a month and a half. This is the first time i've stuck to a workout plan for this long, and i'm finally reaping the benefits.

Nice work guys! Pete that is just awesome progress mate!

Man I feel like an old man at the moment. I have a sore left shoulder from my last bench session, tendonitis in my left knee and I managed to pull a calf muscle yesterday. Seriously I'm in a funk.

Diet has been good and I've dropped 2lbs a week for the last two weeks but I think I might need to lay of some exercise for a bit until everything is 100% because I seem to just be going from injury to injury at the moment.

Just got home from the gym.

I took Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off and it helped out big time.

I worked back/bis today and my arms are exhausted.

I've went up on weight again and I'm using 40lb dumbellls for my cross-body curls and 35s for hammer curls and standing bar curls I've went up to 60lbs.

I've went up to 85lbs on the preacher curl machine too..

I'm probably going to work legs tomorrow, to get my upper body prepared for chest /tris the next day.

I was fully playing sports with a brace 6 months after surgery. But the rehab is really key, at least at the beginning. Eventually you get to the point where your pretty much just doing the same exercises, just gradually increasing the difficulty, so you can do them on your own, but I would really try and find some way to find out where your at and come up with some type of plan.

Thanks man, yeah I definitely made the mistake of slacking on rehab.

Anybody have any snacks they recommend for a lunch break? I am trying to save money, so want to bring in some things from home. I already bring in water, but find myself wanting somethign else, as well.

I'm thinking of getting a pack of apple juices and some snacks, decent snacks.

I eat sun flower seeds for a snack. I also picked up these "meal replacement" snack bars at walmart. They are filled with vitamins and protein but I def use it more of a snack than a "meal replacement". When I get home I'll get the name, but they are tasty.
