I'll be halfway through my sets and my wrists start aching, while my biceps will feel just fine.

I'm about to start day 2 with the N.O. and I'm hoping for similar results.
I have the same problem. Gonna pick me up some good gloves that support the wrists.

Yea I can't do curls with the bar they hurt my wrists. I stick with dumbbells and cables for curls. I usually only do 1 or 2 direct bicep exercises on my back/bi days. Pretty much all the back exercises I do hit the biceps too so I don't feel the need to do anymore.

I always had that issue, but only with preacher curls. I could do dumbbell curls all day, but I could barely handle any weight with the bar, as my wrists and forearms would KILL.

Road 2 miles on a stationary bike then jogged/sprinted/walked a mile.

Lets just say I am out of shape. So glad I only weigh 183 while standing at 6'2" though. Doesn't take long for me to get going.

Agreed with you guys about the barbell curls, I can't do those either, just kill my wrists.

I got up at 4.45am this morning and did an hour low intensity cardio (treadmill). Just threw on a dvd with subtitles so it wasn't too loud so I wouldn't wake the wife and daughter and zoned out. The machine said I burnt around 400 cals.

Good god... my legs feel like jello.

The chick I was chatting up, that works at the gym, was about to leave when I got there, but ended up having like a 30 minute conversation before she left. I don't know what it is, this girl likes sports and everything.

Thankfully, I was working out legs, because I have a hard time talking and working upper body.. maybe in between sets.

Well, you were right Jonesy. I started the sledgehammer pyramid after my bi's/back/abs workout. Made it down to 15 before I nearly keeled over and died .

Gives me something to work on though. It's definitely a hell of a workout.

Lol. Just to confirm you are starting with 20 from 3 different angles so 60 total "reps" just for round one then its 19 x 3 angles so 57 reps for round two and so on? If so that is ****ing crazy!

God no, i'd die! . It's 20 swinging from the right side, into 19 swinging from the left, into 18 from the right, etc. So by the time I had stopped at 15, I had done 105 swings, which had me absolutely gassed.

Lmao still that is pretty hardcore especially considering you are doing it at the end of a weight session as well.

Not in the least - you'd probably end up taking over a squat rack (like bh stated) for about 20 mins while you complete your workout. You're machine days would be over! But make no mistake, people are going to look at you while you're doing these workouts.

I was completely intimidated the first time I walked into the gym, but so was everyone else that entered. Crossfit promotes encouragement, so the last thing members will do is judge you. You'll learn proper form doing the WODs - even though it will seem like you're not doing much weight, your body will feel it. Each well you'll start to feel stronger and more confident in your movements - it's really more mental in my opinion. I never really focused on speeding through the workouts, because I have no thoughts of seriously competing. I go in for the work so that I feel and look great - I call it my sanity and vanity.

It's okay to be scared/intimidated because it's unknown, but I guarantee you that you'll be happy you faced the uncertainty and walked into a crossfit box - it will literally change your life!

Paleo nuts & banana chips for dinner.

This is what happens when you work 13 hours lol

Paleo nuts = cashews + almonds + walnuts + pecans + ground cumin + cayenne pepper + cinnamon + pinch of butter & vanilla extract

Paleo nuts are meh along but with the banana chips it's amazing

Weight lifted for 2 hours full body today. I know that is too much but my back was feeling better.

Walking tomorrow might be an issue but right now I feel great.

I think I finally found a few people that want to give this crossfit.

We work out at seperate gyms, but I think we may find a way to make it work. I'm going to start trying to add a few of the cleans they do to my regular workout and see how I fair with it.
