    They have a pretty sweet diamond bar at the gym that I use sometimes..

    I have to wear gloves with it, it's rough on the hands.

      yeah me too. Back day just destroy's my hands. My usual back day is:

      1. Deadlifts x 4 sets (followed by shrugs)
      2. Chin ups x 3 sets
      3. Bent over barbell row x 3 sets
      4. DB rows (followed by shrugs)

      I tried going gloveless for a month and my damn callouses were getting rediculous so I had to go back to using the gloves. My soft office worker hands just couldn't hack it.

      I also find my grip gives out once I get above 250lbs or so on the deadlifts so I have to use straps for the heavy sets of those and the DB rows.

        People can say what they want about it, I just prefer my gloves..

        I've finally strengthened my wrists up, so I go without the wrist wrap now, but I have a sweet pair of nike gloves that I love..

            I've been debating on switching gyms.

            I like the staff and several of the people I work out with, I just miss some of the equipment in my old gym. It's more modern and I miss some of the machines they have.. + they have rubber weights

            The only downside: My other gym wasn't 24/7 and they were WAY busier..

            I can't think of many times where I'm not there before 5-7pm anyways, but the days where I'm scheduled 11-8 would be tough to work out..

                    Picked up a tub of Muscle Pharm Assault. Pretty pumped. My buddy let me try a sample of the green apple the other day, and I had so much more energy and drive than I did with Jack3d. I like Jack3d, but all it really does for me is getting me hyped up. The MPA actually had me less hyped up, but I pumped out more reps, and never got that fatigued feeling.

                    Let's just hope that the fruit punch tastes better than green apple. It tasted like a mix between a Jolly Rancher and a Warhead. Almost made me puke.

                        It was pretty good, and it gave me a killer shoulder/legs workout. I also had plenty left in the tank to finish the sledgehammer pyramid. I can't rave enough about Muscle Pharm.

                            Lol, I like working out with a few guys from work, but a few more joined our gym and were here tonight.. they aren't even the least bit serious. I've been here close to an hour and they were here 30 minutes and left...

                              I just had the best chest/tricep workout I've had in a while.

                              I went up another 5-10 lbs on everything I done and still dominated the workout.. awesome feeling.

                                Gotta love it when you have one of those killer workouts.

                                I did back and bi's this morning at 5am. Tried deadlifting with no shoes on for the first time as suggested by one of my powerlifter buddy's and it was good. Found it easier to lean back and drive with the legs and kept my back straighter which was my biggest problem with the lift. Think I'll be doing them like that from now on....
