    Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE

If you have a Trader Joe's near you I highly suggest this:

It is absolutely fantastic and here are the macros:

    1 cup serving: 40 cals, 3g fat, 1g protein, 2g carbs, 1g fiber

It is now the staple in my morning shake!!!

Yes the picture needs to be that big lol

I really don't use all the BSN stuff I have, some of it's just samples they give out and stuff..

Haven't been able to work out much in the last week or so. I guess pneumonia will do that to ya.

Hoping to be back at it within the next couple days. I feel quite a bit better, but the coughing hasn't subsided yet.

I'm still working on it, I'm hovering in the 258-260 range depending on the previous days workout. My 258.8 was short lived, it was 4 lbs of water weight that I reported earlier..haha

Weighed in at 189 this morning. Amazing.

I have been going to gym as well. Yesterday was Bis and Back. Today will be Chest.

            I'm feeling great!

I think my ultimate goal will be about 165, however, realistically with lifting now, I will be happy around 175.

                Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE

Well despite my reluctance to use anything with 1-3 Dimeth in it, I decided to pick up.

                Spoiler

A lot of people that I work out with have raved about the great results that they are getting from using it, so I decided aww what the heck I'll give it a whirl, just need to monitor and limit my scoopage.

I must say I'm pretty impressed. I got the Watermelon flavor, and it mixed very well in water, and the taste was pretty decent. Not much of a flavor but gave a light taste of like a Watermelon bubble gum, bit of a sourness but I didn't mind.

Now 30 minutes later is when I really kicked into gear, I was able to really blow away my workout. Worked out for an Hour and 15 minutes, and really didn't feel like that long of a session. Felt like I did double the amount of work I usually do. I did Triceps, and some Chest work today and I was able to bang out about 5-7 more reps than I usually do, and able to get more sets in. Usually I do about 2-3... I could easily do 4-5 sets if I wanted to today. Plus I was not exhausted at the end of the workout as I usually am, I was still able to do more if I wanted.

Don't really think you absolutely need this, or a similar pre-workout but it definitely helps if you are like me and are pretty tired after working a job during the day and want to work up some energy to get a work out in the evening, or if you're looking to take the next step and get more intense in your workouts. Only thing is I probably would NOT take this stuff every workout day.

Even though I didn't feel any side effects; I'd still limit it just to avoid either building a dependance on it, or building immunity to it. I would probably limit usage to like Twice a week. Just pick the 2 workouts you want to go the hardest in and use it before. I'm probably going to wait until about Wed-Thu before I take it again.

I haven't used any Jack3ed in a long time. I've been using N.O. 2 and and Hyper FX for a while, alternating between the two.

The only reason I use them, is because I don't feel any side effects from them like I started getting with the Jack3d and C4.

I know a bunch of the people at my gym are getting big into Assault, but I've never tried it..

Yea with PWOs I heard it's best to cycle em off between a couple so you don't build too much of a tolerance, or just go off them for a few weeks.

What kind of side effects were you getting from jack3d? I didn't feel anything negative but I only used 1 scoop, and also this was my first time taking it. I think once people start building tolerance and having to go to 2-3 scoops that's when the side effects kick in.

I've heard good things about c4, heard NO was ok as well except it is really fizzy and sometimes gives headaches, haven't tried Muscle Pharm Assault yet.. I like that it doesn't have 1-3 Dimeth in it, but I heard from some people that it doesn't really do much for them and isn't really up to par compared to c4, jack3d, and NO.

The one brand I have no knowledge of is "Pump Fuel" the GNC guys rave about it, but it's super expensive (like $54! who has that kind of money for a PWO?) and it seems like they just push it to get the sale, and commission like most of their products.

Little bit of a progress report, I think I'm finally starting to see the results that I've wanted. Going back to the first page of this post I literally was like 120 lbs maybe the Autumn of last year, I don't even have any pictures from that time period. I ate like 2 times a day and the stuff I did eat was complete crap, like Sugary Cereals, Candy, Chips, Soda, McDonalds, Pizza every day. I pretty much looked like this guy physique wise. Was just so sickly, and frail looking,

Now I'm up to 145 still a little too skinny for my liking, but at least now I can finally see noticeable muscle definition. I like how hard I went after my triceps, and shoulders. Still would like to see more pop from the biceps, and bring out my chest muscles more, also need to work on lats big time. But maybe I can finally go to the Beach this year without feeling like a dweeb. Goal is to surpass 150 and keep putting on muscle.

Before you guys make fun of me for being skinny, I know it's my metabolism plus I have a hard time eating a lot of food at once.. but my appetite is improving.

                        .
I felt fine pre workout and through the workout, but post workout I just got a weird feeling in my stomach and it seemed to wear me down.. I didn't experience any sort of shaking, though..

It's good stuff, I just think more than a bottle of it, without cycling to something different, can't be good at all.. so I made a change.

great progress man! Definitely have some nice tri / shoulder definition and like you said if you can bring up the chest and back to add a little thickness you'll be looking pretty damn swole (obligatory no homo of course).

I've read that 'loading' of creatine isn't really necessary but it does speed things up and 3-5 grams a day is pretty much all you need to get good results.

A good read about it here (though a bit technical in places): http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/layne13.htm

No pictures, but I've been putting on weight again finally. When I first started working out last year at the beginning of July I was around 153-154. By October I was constantly weighing in inside of the 162-164 range. Then I pretty much plateau'd on weight gaining.

Since the start of the year I've changed up my routine, doing more sprinting to burn fat and still build muscle, I've really cleaned up my diet and I've only gotten up to 167-168, but I'v also burned off some fat and I'm noticing improvements everywhere. Before, I just had thicker build from working out. Now with my cleaner diet, I look built, I'm more toned and cut, my abs are actually starting to stick out, my shoulders are actually looking muscular which improves my overall look. 2012 has been a good year working out wise for me. I'm not working out near as much, but my cleaner diet and new routines have me progressing just as much, if not more than I was last year.

Thanks man, yeah I've been made fun of my whole life for being skinny. I think I had enough when I was coming home from work and walking outside of Shop Rite this Old man who couldn't have been more than 5'5, 135 said to me "You're small." I got so ticked off at that, I knew I had to change my lifestyle around.

Back is definitely something I need to hit harder, just hard to really get a good back workout in. Probably going to need to get in more Inverted Rows, and Lat Pulldowns. As far as loading Creatine it's something I'll look into, I'm not taking a specific Creatine supplement but I do take other supplements that have some Creatine in them.
