And just some food for thought, but how many people who don't do IF have ever gone a day without eating?
I'm not talking about when you were sick, or some crap like that, I'm talking about a normal healthy 24+ hours of not eating? Really think, have you ever done it?
If no (and I don't believe I had before I started IF), doesn't that seem a little strange... A little bizarre that you've never once gone a single day without eating. How many days have you been alive on this earth, and you've stuffed your face every single one of them!
What about that 16 hours, how about 12 waking hours when food was readily available?
Isn't it a little strange that a certain time of the day rolls around, and you just HAVE to eat.
I'll tell you what, some of the most empowering feelings I've had are when I'm fasting and I just get this surge of energy. No, its not always easy, but its most definitely not always hard either. Our bodies were meant to go extended periods of time without food and in many many ways we actually function better, more efficient, in this state. As crazy as it may seem, it is empowering, and at times addicting, to fast and push the bounds of what is "normal"
So again, I ask you, have you ever gone a single healthy day in your life without eating? If no, is that really normal? Because it seems incredibly bizarre to me.
