      Change in plans. Will wait to get going on Insanity on Monday. I just won't have time this weekend so I would rather start when I know my schedule is clear from that point moving forward.

        Since you are only working out these days, I would avoid the cheat days for a while. Just my thoughts on it. If you were working out much more than that, then your body would most likely not be affected since metabolism would be running strong.

          For me i always cheat on a non-training day. However the next day I try to go hard in the gym to ensure I use those extra calories as energy for my workout.

            I wouldn't mix a cheat day and workout day.

            If it's something reasonably unhealthy it may have an effect on the energy you have to workout with. I would just cheat and relax in the same day and hit it harder the next day.

              I should clarify my cheat day as well - I am doing the Weight Watchers points system, but even with my cheat day, I am not really going over my points. My cheat day is usually instead of tuna or chicken breast salad it's beef fajitas or fries with my sandwich at Chic-Fil-A. I am not eating a triple meat burger, extra larger fries, with two apple pies and a large coke.

                It was pizza day at work, I had 5 slices of buff chicken pizza and a can of coke......

                  So I just beasted my last workout, but unfortunately I think I sprained my wrist pretty badly. I was going for personal bests in Weight and I just kept going heavier, I think my form slipped on 1 rep and my wrist bent back in an unnatural position. I finished there, and now it's really sore, and there's pain when I try to rotate my wrist a certain way.

                  I've been icing it a bunch, and tightly wrapped it with some Sports tape kind of worried on how long it will take to heal... My fear is that I won't be able to go back to lifting for 2-3 weeks.

                    I did the same with my right shoulder. Went too heavy on the fly's and I paid the price. Feels better but I haven't been able it lift for over a week. Time to work on the lower body until healed.

                      I always felt like I neglected my legs a little bit.

                      Those days just always seemed to be the worst and hardest to complete. I think the running and biking will help me in that department for sure.

                      Sucks about your wrist Feared. You just can't stay in the gym.

                        Yeah it's always something earlier it was the flu, then I got hit with a Stomach Virus.

                        Oh well I guess I'll just rest it up, focus on cardio, endurance, legs; like Rules was saying. Funny thing was I was beasting it up until that form slip on 1 rep... I will definitely be getting some Wrist straps when I go back to doing upper body workouts though.

                            I'm starting 4 day splits tomorrow.

                            What is the proper ettiquette using the machines?

                            Do you complete sets 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the same machine or do you complete a set, and then move on to the next exercise, do a set, move on to the next machine, etc.....?

                              Back in the process of losing weight now that I'm done with school and have a ton of free time. What protein/supplement would you guys recommend to use with my workouts as I'll need some more soon.

                                I would go ahead and try to give yourself a set time of rest in between sets and just stay on a single machine unless you have a low population gym. Then I would move around or super set exercises.

                                I know I try to super set some stuff and often get my machine/area taken by somebody who does not lift similar to me and it would be a hassle to work in with them.
