You know what, I've kind of been thinking the same. I don't completely neglect legs but I can definitely do a lot better job working them.

I think in order to combat this I'm going to move Leg workout day, to the first workout of the Week. So I can't even think about doing Biceps, Shoulders, Chest, Back or Triceps until I get my Day of Squats, DB Lunges, Leg Press, Leg Extensions in.

Sucks my Legs will probably be sore all week, but I'll deal with it.

It's from a Bodybuilding.com "teen" site for some reason, but it's a pretty killer workout when looking at the endgame.

Day 1 was intense, especially after being sick this long. I did the 2 mile run, and then hopped off, alternated the sets of pullups and situps until the pullups were done, then finished the last set of situps before tackling the pushups. All of this was done with as little of a break as possible between sets.
Thanks for posting that. That's exactly what I'm looking for since I wanted to do workouts without weights and I'll be by the ocean to swim. I'll be doing that for sure in March

NP man. My only issue is that I have nowhere to swim, so I have to be creative. I'll probably just do an alternate form of cardio. I only did the running and bodyweight stuff today, as I'm still feeling a little cruddy.

Have you checked out local high schools or ymca for public pool access? Since you are running maybe cycling or eliptical as an alternative since those are low impact exercises. Jump rope is intense but doing 10 minutes of that is like running for 30 minutes.

That cruddy feeling will go away you just have to push through that. That's where a lot of people start giving up because of the initial soreness. It was hell for me for 3 weeks but once I got through it became an addiction for me.

Nah, the cruddy feeling is the remnants of the flu I've been trying to get rid of for over a week. I wanted to keep going, but I didn't want to push it while still feeling slightly under the weather.

Feeling much better today though, so Monday will be the day I get right back into the full routine. I think I'm going to do jump roping as an alternative to swimming like you said. Maybe just 15 steady minutes, nothing too crazy. Just enough to really push my body past it's limit after an already difficult workout.

In other news, my brother in law and I decided that instead of the Vermont Tough Mudder in August, we're doing the Spartan Beast in September. I'm trying to mentally and physically prepare my body to be destroyed .

Oh yeah, I gained quite a bit, then hurt my back and gained even more. The paleo diet saved me. It got me almost too skinny, then I started taking a protein recovery drink after workouts and put my muscle back on. All told I lost 36 pounds, started looking gaunt and all "hollow-eyed", then put 15 pounds back on of "good weight" and body fat % didn't change.

I've posted a pic of my "transformation" in my screenshots section in my arena if you want to see.

I didn't notice the New Year's gym crowd until yesterday.

Mid day and packed out in the gym.. you know something is off.

Most were girls that looked to be in pretty good shape.

The gym here has been very busy. It's kind of funny seeing people I've never seen there before in brand new workout gear. But even if most of these people fall of the wagon by February, I can't hate on people trying to improve their fitness. Beats everyone on the couch.

I've been back on board since the 2nd of January. I weighted in a 219.3 then and today I weighted in at 214.6. I was actually a pound less yesterday, but had a bowl of taco soup during the playoff games so I gained some back. I guess losing almost a pound a day is nothing to scoff at though.

I'm hoping to get down to 195 within the next few months. The only working out that I do is playing basketball, which I do 3-4 days a week. Today we busted out a full hour's worth of full court 3 on 3. That was a great way to burn some extra calories.

Other than the bball, I've cut out all junk food, fast food and diet sodas. Losing weight for me is about 75% of watching what I eat and 25% working out. I'm hoping to be under 205 by the end of the month.

Took about 6 months off if doing anytype of workout, but I'm currently 6'1 200. My goal is mainly to cut my body fat to 8% by the end of the year.
