    Back up to 255 this winter after being 235-240 throughout the summer and early fall.

    Getting pretty tired of these fluctuations and it's time to make a real change.

    I know so many friends who have used Advocare's products, and truth be told, the results are almost always pretty astounding. I am going to try the 24-Day Challenge and if that goes well, I'm going to become a distributor. I also have many friends who have gotten involved in the business and money making side of Advocare and a good number of them have done very well financially (some very, VERY well).

    It's worth a shot... The business opportunities and having more financial freedom is exciting to me. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes from people I trust, I would be skeptical, as I almost always am.

      I use Advocare's "Spark" pre-workout when I'm dragging as$. Good stuff.

      I LOVE 3Fuel as a clean protein powder that you can use pre-, intra-, post-workout. You can order it off CrossFit Endurance's web site, and you can use my wife's gym discount code for 10% off (the code is 3FHUNT). If you want to read about it, the web site is 3fu3l in the url.

        Probably all water weight, but down 5 lbs this week. Just eating good portions every 3 hours, soccer game last night. Trying to ease back into things instead of going gung-ho like I have before. Going to check out the paleo approach as well.

          Tried ice skating/ice hockey for the 1st time yesterday. Didn't fall as much as i thought i would, but my legs/lower back are killing me.

            If any of you guys are looking for a workout program I'd highly recommend Growth Stimulus Training. Probably the best program out there IMO.

            One Macrocycle on it at 180 lbs and I've seen my bench increase from 285 to 315, and my Deads and Squats also made good improvements on it. Now on to Macro #2...

              Same here as I have dropped 5 lbs so far. Going to start Rushfit by GSP tomorrow evening once I get back from doing some hiking.

                It's been a while since I've skated, but I'll tell you what was the hardest thing.

                I just use the boards, no matter how fast I'm skating.

                  Kick *** chest/tricep workout in the gym.


                  I started getting hungry towards the end, when I was trying to work some core with the stayball.

                  My triceps were so swole I couldn't put my arms up against my sides

                  I drank a protein shake and stopped and got an oven roasted chicken sub afterwards....

                  I'm actually proud of myself, because the alternative was drinking beer and eating wings with my football all day.

                    Man, I hate pushups. Week two of the program I'm doing sees an increase in pushups from 4 sets of 15 to 5 sets of 20. I'm just not able to do it. Doesn't help having rather long, lanky arms. I struggled last week just doing the 4 sets of 15. I've got no problems with the running, pullups, or sit-ups, as I can complete all sets of those (they aren't easy mind you, I'm just able to complete them).

                    I'm thinking I'm going to keep the week two workout going, but stick with the week 1 pushup total until that's a little easier.

                      I went to the store and bought myself some lunch stuff for work and a bag of apples. I'm doing everything I can to snack healthier throughout the week.

                      I'm actually feeling pretty good about back/biceps tonight.

                        just bought a treadmill, running shoes, and protein bars. gonna run while watching sportscenter in the morning, and do P90x after work in the afternoon. The hard part is going to be setting up a meal plan of some sort.

                            Just added a Schwinn Airdyne AD4 Upright Exercise Bike to my gym. Best cardio machine on the planet.

                              My buddy had me doing a crazy chest workout earlier that took it's toll on me. We used the squat rack and set it about 3 1/2 feet off the ground and put a long bar in the rack.

                              Then we set out three sets of dumbells in front of it (60s,40s,20s) and started out wide and set them like this

                              6 4 2 2 4 6

                              and we did incline push ups (legs draped over the bar in the squat rack) starting with hands on the 60s and worked our way all the way inside to the 20s and back out to the 60s doing 5 sets on each inside and out. When you get to the 20s it's tough as ****.. especially for a guy like me with long arms.

                              I don't know if these have a name, but it's just something cool he showed me and I thought I would share.

                              We were also doing some crazy medicine ball push ups with one hand on the ball and the other off and when you push back up flip the ball to the opposite hand, land, and push back up.. those are tough as hell too.

                              I def. got a workout in tonight. It's been cool learning some different stuff from what I usually do. I've been having a lot of fun working out with everyone who's at the gym at night.

                                I think I hit a wall big time in the last month. I need to get back to using MyFitnessPal App everyday. Just looked at it and I'm not getting nearly enough calories in with the way I'm working out. I'm getting stronger but my weight is not going down.

                                I burn over 1000 calories exercising and I'm eating just 2200 calories a day. I need to bump that to another 1200 calories.
