Doubtful. I say that because if that was the case it would not have flown to where it did. Most likely everyone was dead while the plane flew and when it ran out of fuel. it nose dived.. That's my non-expert thinking. As for how or what caused it to make that sharp turn...no idea.

      NO!

How I know this?? I don't, but I'm going to just guess like this entire investigation has done up until this point.

I guess anything could be possible but if they were out of fuel I would not think it could be accomplished.

Oh, perhaps. I just know that Zaharie guy has been doing it for over twenty years and has the DIY simulator in his home. I was thinking: "If that's inexperienced, I'll fly with any pilot 24/7."

I still the the Payne Stewart theory is far and away the most plausible.

What about the "Speed" theory of the pilots/terrorist contacting Malaysian government and saying: "We're taking the plane to an undisclosed location. If you tell anyone, we will blow up the plane."

Not saying this is my thought, but when did they ultimately decide this one can't be?

I don't get how we go from "We are looking into the pilots", then "We are recovering the deleted files from flight sim", to "Could be terrorist hijacking", then BOOM "We have concluded it has crashed in ocean yet nothing has been discovered".

Just smells really foul in my opinion. The points on the map leading to this decision just don't add up one bit. If anything it has been a constant cluster****, so to just come out and declare it like a fact when everything leading to this point has been wrong is just asinine IMO.

The official statement from the PM.. which basically says nothing other than "We ran out of excuses so we'll just say it crashed so the families can grieve.

Once again, more unanswered questions, like what type of analysis was this that is has never been used before?

7 days ago was when we first heard that the last response came from the Indian Ocean, how did it take so long for a company to review that information before finally making it official?

It comes across to me as "We're tired of answering questions every day. It crashed in the ocean, ok? Now go away while we look for evidence."

It's possible but highly unlikely. The plane would also float for hours or longer. The only reason that plane started to sink was because some one open the emergency exits. If you are going to land, you don't fly to the middle of no where when there are plenty of airports you could have landed at. Or you try to put down where the last radio contact was at as that is a shipping route, so lots of ships in the area to rescue you.

As for someone telling the government not to tell anyone or they blow it up, I've always had that theory of a cover up, but by now you would have thought that it would have been leaked.

I've also thought that some government my have shot it down. Maybe they made them fly to the middle of no where and then they ran out of fuel or got shot down.

They probably also don't want the world to be pissed at how much money we're spending to try and find it, so they can do a little bit "incognito."

Probably not, but unless that plane is on land, all passengers are dead. Even if it was on land, they'd have to feed a lot of people everyday even if they wanted them to survive for something. It's just unlikely they're alive is all, no matter how safe the landing was.

The press conference could be interesting if more facts are told.

If it was hijacked, they could be looking to confuse the supposed hijackers into thinking they are completely stumped. Writing it off as a crash in the ocean it could give them time to put together a task force to strike the attackers.

That is a theory I believe could be plausible; unlikely but plausible.

The only reason I don't put any potential truth to that is because no one has claimed anything. Why not go public with it and have China pay you. Keeping it quite only works if you get paid, at this point there is nothing. They would also have to "find" the plane somewhere on land. Maybe that is why it is taking so long, they have to fake a landing. So they put out all the differing radar points, so they can then fake the landing anywhere in the huge area.

"None of those on board survived."

Yet they haven't found a single trace of the plane yet. It's ridiculous to come out and say that IMO.

If this latest news is true why did it take so long for them to reach this conclusion? We have known the satellite data/pings for awhile now... what took them this long to further analyze it and determine where the last ping was?
